100 year old man has a mental breakdown on camera and you people are really sitting here like, "see this proves I'm right". Like stop using this man's clearly fragile mental state as a tool to spread your crappy politics. The man is right, us of the younger generations don't have the same opportunities that people like him have, but that's the fault of his own generation. People that did not care and to this day still don't care about what they did / do to this country because they're going to be gone soon anyway. His generation did Jim crow, they did the war on drugs, they cut taxes and defunded schools. They made it harder to get a college education because they think young people don't work hard enough etc. They helped cover up the history of this country just to help spread racist sentiments and they continue to do so every time they go vote. I feel bad for this man but i have no sympathy for his generation and much less respect for them. They got everything they could out of this country and then said we couldn't afford to do the same for the generations that follow and now they are shocked at the state of this country. Give me a break

@@DogDogGodFog It was an economic crash that kicked off in Wall St. in 1921, many countries were loaning money from the USA to pay off reparations from the First World War. The US needed their money back, and nobody had the money to pay. Many countries went into massive debt like Japan, Germany, United Kingdom - you name it they owed. This kicked off a multitude of great regrets the world has. Hitler came into power legitimately by promising Bread and Work "Brot und Arbeit" - Japan invaded Manchuria and raped it. And Italy rose into Fascism, tested their war crimes in Ethiopia known as Abyssinia back then. And of course the Spanish Civil War, which showed the world the strength of the Luftwaffe. The Depression caused World War II The world went into catastrophe through the Great Depression, I've heard economists say the times we are currently in is so much worse than the Great Depression it is beyond compare. Russia invading Ukraine, cost of living crisis, mass homelessness and fuel prices are only the beginning. Only a few years ago a Third World War seemed silly! Now we're only a few miles away *correction the crash was in 1929

@@charliecooper6586 Germany fought for unification and a better future for all Germanic peoples. They didn't care about the USA, they considered it a multiracial garbage dump. They considered Russia the main threat to Europe, because it wanted to unite all the Slavic peoples and for centuries created the threat of the destruction and enslavement of the Germanic peoples. Perhaps Lenin's birth was a great happiness, because if it had not been for the Bolshevik revolution, Russia would have won the WWI and it would have been a disaster for Europe.

I´m Spanish and I'm not sure why KZfaq recommended this to me, but I am deeply moved by this video. Young people like me don't really appreciate what we have as we have grown in already prosperous developed countries with more or less mature democracies. We take a lot of things for granted. We forgot that all we got is thanks to the blood and sweat of the great people that preceded us. We should be more humble, and grateful, and take great care of the legacy of people like this man. RIP Carl Dekle. Blessings for you all.

They lived in a adobe hut in a poor farming community in a time many died out of starvation and disease, nowadays many people are obese because their calorie intake is too high, their body movement is too low and the largest disease is diabetes.

History lesson: Spain was informally allied with Germany. The USA's allies, the British, had openly threatened Spain with annihilation. The Spanish-speaking world was informally on Germany's side because it had exactly the same problems with the English-speaking world as the Germans. Moreover, the USA had isolated Spain in terms of foreign policy until the 1970s - hence the poverty in Spain. Spaniards are the last people who owe anything to the invading armies of the Americans, British and French, on the contrary.
@TheJosman

@@mo7798 The Spanish-speaking world was not on the Axis' side. Other than Spain and maybe Argentina, Nazism was heavily disliked and Mexico and Brazil in particular did send troops to aid fight alongside the Americans in both the Pacific and European theaters. Remember when republicans cancelled (hahaha it’s funny when they refuse to believe they’re part of cancel culture too) the Dixie chicks back in 03 when they spoke out against Bush’s war in Iraq? They blacklisted them and sent them death threats because they used their first amendment rights. Now mainstream republicans denounce the war themselves even though in those days “to be a patriot meant to support your nation and to support the president and to support the war and to hate those that the president says to hate” but those same people now call that mentality “sheep” - so if those were the good old days, then being sheep was the good old days?

While I sympathize, the whole reason he’s upset is because we ARE fighting and it’s for the same things he fought for freedom and equality for all people. He fought and risked his life so we wouldn’t have to, for peace and love, and to protect the world and it’s people. And yet we still fight amongst ourselves take rights from others and belittle people on both sides. We have successful fusion energy experiments, electric cars, instantaneous communication, virtual reality, more efficient delivery systems, hypersonic missiles, GPS so virtually no one can get lost anywhere with battery power, satellite weather analysis and better forecasting, better farming, drone photography, drone light shows, safer food standards, safer sanitation standards, safer workplaces, remote jobs, more varieties of entertainment, better water standards, longer life expectancy, better medical procedures, cures for diseases, faster and more efficient air travel, more powerful computing and more realistic simulations for engineers... anything else you see is panic- and fear-mongering for purposes of traditional or social media revenue.

As Malcom X said, the chickens are coming home to roost. A city built on blood is an abomination. So why have so many conveniently forgotten that is America's foundation? America has given reparations to literally every single demographic under the sun EXCEPT to the very ones they stole, burned, mutilated, sodomized, raped, castrated, breeded like animals, destroyed their families, stripped their names, identity, culture, fed them pig, and forced them to build their infrastructure for free for over 200 years. What a great head start to generational wealth! And after that...there was even MORE reparations for the poor Massa who lost his money makers after the year 1865. So tell me...how was this just? How is this right? How was it noble?? Americans stole this land and believe they have rights to their wrongs. But I thank the Most High with all of my heart that He is not a man who is deaf dumb and blind. He saw EVERYTHING. Every nation...even America..will reap what they have sown. And seeing very clearly she doesn't believe in righting her wrongs...HE WILL make it right. Therefore, I have no sympathy for the tears of the descendants who benefitted off of the blood streaked backs of mine. The same who have the audacity to this very day, I should simply "get over it". America is Spiritual Egypt. See Deuteronomy 28:68. She is the land of my captivity. She is the fourth beast kingdom as prophesied by Daniel the prophet. She is Mystery Babylon the Great. See Jeremiah 50,51, Isaiah 14 and Rev 18:4. She is the nation that has lead all nations into sin and wickedness through bribery corruption and witchcraft. America ain't no paradise and never was for me and my people.

This makes me so sad to see as a 24 year old. This man is literally part of a handful of Americans left who fought in that war, and only he really sees how much things have changed (not for the better.) This should be a wake up call for all of us. So sad.

@Far7rom America is a Republic and not a democracy. America is never a democracy. As a matter of fact democracy is one of the worst forms of governance. A democracy is like 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch while a republic is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.

@Far7rom My point still stands. Republic is not the same as a pure democracy. The United States in particular is a Constitutional Republic. Bottom line a pure democracy is a horrible form of governance and one of the worst kinds as well, because it always leads to the tyranny of the majority aka mob rule.

@Far7rom I am simply pointing out the difference between a pure democracy and a Republic. They made be similar on the surface but they are fundamental different. That is all I am saying.
