Thank you for this show! You show a bunch of quick tips like the garbage bags around the tires to paint rims ect. Your sense of humor cracks me up with your calm combobulation words. I drove past this rig while cruising down the ol I-94 on your move day and just about put my going to town rig into the fence because I wildly rubbernecked as if I had just seen Elvis and Jesus playing cards on the side of the freeway! The LED lighting on that rig was STRIKING! I was all excitedty! I'm not sure who that says more about, your channel, or my fanboydom, but either way, I'll always feel a sense of pride having watched you from the beginning. MN (and ND....and WI) will always call you our own. Blessings on your new adventures down south.

I have respect for car carrier drivers, I looked into doing it and there is a lot of headaches involved particularly with new cars. Often they have small amounts of damage from the railroad or whatever before the driver picks them up and if damage is not detected or coded wrong during inspection it becomes the drivers fault. Other things like back windows blowing out on some cars loaded backwards and even having to remove antennas so they don't hit a bridge and whip against the windshield. So many little things that can bite them.

I live on trans Canada highway 17 and see some big shit coming through here. Wouldn't want to have to chose between a cyclist and a car. Most of the really big shit has escorts but I'm amazed there aren't more wrecks. Derek, a suggestion for the new shop. Run two bus bars along the wall connected to an old school battery charger. That way you can have multiple cars connected and on trickle charge. I know that would take a lot of fun out of trying to get the vehicles running, but would negate the need for a battery sponsor. Hope all goes well with the move.

Another idea that I have been meaning to try myself, is put a few dryer vents on the side wall, and hang some long dryer vent hose on the wall with a squeeze clamp rigged up on the end. Need to run a car indoors while you work on it? Grab the hose, slide it on the tail pipe with the squeeze clamp, all the exhaust goes outside while your running.

Just recently found your channel, nice to see a feller from the northern plains doing what I loved to do in my younger years. Lived in MN and WI most of my adult life, but my old bones just couldn't take those 7 month subarctic winters anymore, and made the move to western KY almost a year ago. We miss it a lot, but do enjoy the much milder winters here, but we'll always miss home. Good luck in this new episode of your life, and hope to visit your shop one day, since you're only a couple hours away. All the best to you and yours, my young friend!

I'M happy to see you're moving on UP man. Glad I ran across this video. I love that Firebird. First one with a six cylinder that I've ever seen. Beautiful car one of my favorites of all time. I was a young man back in the last millennium, and in 1970 I owned a little '67 Firebird - maize/black vinyl top & with a new replacement engine for the 326 c.i.. It had a dealer installed 400 coupled to the TH 400 transmission. Best car ever! I also loved that car hauler. One big beautiful "LARGE CAR," as I did that but only for about 6 months. Good luck in your future endeavors and keep your videos coming. God bless you. 🙏

Last week I embarked on a trip, I would have never wanted to try, just because I watch your channel, I was game take the challenge. Friend and I flew out to Oregon and drove it back to Mississippi. 3000 miles 48 hr drive, in a 88 Pontiac Safari, that had been sitting a 5+ years. Amazing trip and can't wait to try another, run. Quite simple to get running, had a minor overheating issue, but we made it to Summit in Arlington, TX and got a scratch and dent 2 row alum rad and fixed the issue. Needle was stuck in carb, that's all she needed to crank and run. She begged us to drive her home immediately. We named her Ellen Griswold....

VGG has almost 1 million subs and Derek just put his trucking company out there for them. The trucker better not mind the wait on this one. What business owner wouldn't want to reach out to million potential customers at the cost of a delayed inconvenience-which as was mentioned, happens all the time with no benefits.

My papaw worked for a company C.A.T (complete auto transit) out of Georgia. He was just a diesel mechanic there, but he’s the one who came up with the concept of the trailer and the company took it and manufactured it.
