I had to return mine I bought based on KZfaq hype since there were bad hot spots in multiple locations: both of the sharp corners on the milled lanyard loop in the back spacer, and the pointy corner on the tip of the pocket clip. All those spots were very noticeable drawing and holding the knife.

Picked a used mini buster up with skiff bearings and man oh man. It's easily my favorite knife. Bit bigger than I particularly prefer but it's still my fav.

I need a full size version of this knife. Such a great looking design.

It has a sheepsfoot aesthetic on the top/spine and a straight wharncliffe style edge, I guess(?), so it is kind of both. ( I pre-ordered a knife from the same place back in June- no info/ETA yet...)

video idea---get afew knivew with the same steel type but different blade shapes. Compare their cutting performance e.g. through paper, cardboard, even a "leg of lamb" (just to do to see...not to satisfy some "serial killer" in the making)....these ARE knives....some will be used "defensively". lSO The Spyderco Yojimbo (associated with Michael Janich) is marketd as a "defensive knife" for "combat/close quarters"...he tested his Yojimbo/wharncliffe be slashing a simulated human arm or leg...using some kind of raw meat wrapped in celephone I think...why not do the same on BBq meat you were planning to BBQ ? :))

Been my dream knife for a long time but it was sold out. Finally got a pre order for the black one couple of days ago. Will still be a long time before I get it though. Hi, I handled one and it seemed extremely stiff, especially when moving the lock bar open to close the knife. Does this seem right, or did I get a bad one?

I'm with on you that. There's just something about the action on that knife. It's different than anything else I have ever flipped, and it's very pleasing. It think it may be the steel pin that doubles as the detent and the lock engagement. Could be wrong on that.

Branding/logo's--you're enttitled to your view as are we all. About not having the WE logo on the scale or any logo's on scales. I believe the opposite. That all pocket knife compaies SHOULD put their logos on the scales and be easily visible e.g. Victorinexo silver scale Swiss Army folder. It's not gaudy but it's here. You'd see the logo if the knife was left on the table. Be like buying a pair of NIKE's without the trademark SwoooOOSH on the side and just "Nike" on the tongue which would be hidden under the laces or your jeans. The Wharncliffe shape blade....never used a knife with...but it LOOKS effective. In most cutting uses...more so...over the typical "drop point". Maybe almost as effective as a "sheeps foot" curve blade edge. Odd all companies don't offer more blade shapes e.g. ZT only offers the "drop point" I believe. This is where there should be a "standardization" i feel--e.g. ALL COMPANIES MUST OFFER---the main 3-4 blade shape....a sharpening choil.... Should be some QC governing body in the knife making industry (at least for pocket/fixed blade knife companies). ...branding/logo---havingt the logo only on the blade would work on fixed blade knives since the blade is always THERE and is never hidden e.g. kitchen knives (where there IS sort of a standardized place where the logos are put...German, American and Japanese kitchen knives.

Apparently the detent is extremely weak!!! You can open the knife with a simple shake!! That is not as it should be!! Eugene On Dashboard Reviews actually shows you how easily the closed detent fails with a simple shake!! Thanks but nothanks!!! Not in my pocket you don’t open up!!
