one of my grandfathers passed before i was born, and the other played his guitar and sang for me growing up, much like the way you sing for the world, with a softness and kindness that will always soothe the ears and hearts of those in proximity. he was a bit old fashioned and we didn't see eye to eye on a lot, but this brought me back to simpler times, thank you.

I know everyone has commented something similar (def not downplaying it), but I lost my grandma last Valentines Day and it's been tough. She was my last connection to my grandfather (who I was pretty close to) and even though I'm 30, it's still been a rough ass time for me between that and grad school (I wish she could've seen me graduate). Thank you for your covers, especially the "Come Along With Me" cover, because something about them really connects me to those times. There's something cathartic about commenting this into the void.
