Snape in my opinion is the most realistic character, that's why I love him. He got bullied a lot by James when he was younger, James married the only person he cared about in the world.... Tbh, we had no idea Professor Snape had actually been trying to protect Harry his entire life but he knows that he killed Dumbledore, only because he thought there was no other way, so he did it, but then he got karma by getting stabbed by someone. *I forgot who killed Snape, so sorry!* Then, Snape tells Harry that he had just been trying to protect Harry ever since he was born, and told him as to how much in love he was with Lily, and thought James Potter had stolen Lily from him, which was why he ended up stunned to hear that Lily and James Potter were killed by *He Who Must Not Be Named.* Snape didn’t care about James, as he was the one who had bullied him since the very beginning. However, trying to get through with Lily’s death was gut wrenching for him, hearing that the one he loved the most had died.
