My ‘then’ new Chevy Colorado had a small leak on the diff cover. Removed it and replaced it with an AFE finned aluminum diff cover. You should consider doing something like this.

Sounds badass.. I almost bought the Atak but I ended up going with Corsa for my '16 5.0 F150. I thought my exhaust was loud until a silver F150 with an Atak pulled up next to me at a stoplight, damn. No camera can capture the sound it creates in person.

Sounds great. I had a 2016 Sierra (5.3L) with a Borla ATAK on it. I loved the sound, but I decided to kick it up a notch and add Kooks long tube headers and Kooks Y-pipe w/ high flow cats. That thing could wake the dead. The best part was I had no drone at all. You should consider it if you really like big sound.

I’ve had this exhaust for a year on my 2017 5.0 and I still smile every time it starts or when I punch it.

Mike, Night and Day difference!!!!!!! Its ridiculous how much better it sounds. Especially considering as you said your not getting any drone inside the cabin. Even though it looks good with the chrome back bumper, cant wait for you to fully dechrome everything on the truck. Also, looking forward to the new grill install and LED Headlights, should make a huge improvement to the appearancel. Cant wait....

I’ve had my 5.0 f-150 for a couple months, and I’ve done little mods, tail gate strut, level kit, and I ordered some LED bulbs, but the Borla Atak cat back was next on my list. I considered a cat back from a company called solo performance, who do a great sounding system at a lower price point, but I’ve always wanted a Borla. Sounds amazing. Gonna save up the extra few hundred dollars and just get the system I want. Side note, I’m just seeing your truck underneath. I feel bad for you east coast guys. I’m a technician on the west coast, and every time I get a used car from out east, my heart sinks. The humidity, and especially the in the areas that get a lot of snow, the rust gets insane. I just did a used car recondition on a Hyundai from New York, and that thing was jacked up. Had to torch almost every bolt I turned on the thing. My heart goes out to you east coast techs! Gotta be tough working on high mileage vehicles out there, I don’t envy you one bit.

On my wife's 14 f150 5.0 It has true dual exhaust 3 inch from the front to the back with 2 single chamber mufflers and 3 inch pipes and tips at rear. Total cost $750 very very loud and great sounding.

Sounds good. I put a Roush system in my gf's F150 5.0. It's aggressive but awesome! Can't get that sound out of an EcoBoost. I have 2 co-workers with EBoost and they always talk how great it is. Now they are jealous with the 5.0 sound :)

You're truck definitely sounds like a real beast man. I need the Borla ATAK for my 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8. That exhaust alone will make a lot of pretty girls shiver they're bones like no tomorrow mate. Something that the ecoboost will never do. The best part was it was on my Birthday.
