I bet everyone who is not the juggernaut will just leave the game. Gamemodes like this are always kind of problematic. But it could be lots of fun.

@TryHardRuby could make it more skill based by having the player with the least points 1min into a match gets the juggernaut powers Just a thought

I think now with how many cars there are all of them might be a stretch but doubling or tripling the amount of hit boxes in the game would be super interesting

That's how you get pay to win accusations every time a new car is released, this is a competitive game, I would argue they should remove all but 7 cars before they should add hundreds of hitboxes.

@@rokko_hates_japan Especially when there are already a bunch of decals, colors, wheels, boosts, and a lot of other ways to customize your car, it's not like having less car bodies would make it any less diverse on the field, especially when 90 percent of people use the same 3 cars anyways (octane dominus or fennec)

@@Heroo01 im not sure what side i would be on tbh. because thats already almost what it is now. the fennec is considered the best by many and dominates the scene. so a new, near perfect car would still be available to everyone and would elevate the level of play. its not broken if it increases players potential and is available to everyone.

Personally, I think they are trying to kill the game and have everybody play fornite. Free rocket pass if you play, then everybody loses 300 mmr, making diamond 2 the new champ1? After the bots?

@@gzsnotcool When hasn't it? I haven't noticed anything more negative from this seasons compared to any other season.. if anything, previous seasons were worse. People always complain online, especially in gaming communities.

@@hhaste RL had been stabilized at ~60,000 peak simultaneously active players on Steam for *4 years* between early 2016 and early 2020. Then in late 2020 that number peaked at ~150,000, naturally, because this is around both the Epic Games hullabaloo and quarantine... however, the number is now well _below_ that solid 4 year stabilization point at now ~40k. Despite new seasons, new songs, new cars, new decals, it doesn't seem like the game is holding all those dedicated players from before or the huge flux of people who checked back in before/during the F2P update. It just doesn't seem like enough to get them to press that green Play button any more. So it appears that, yeah, people have been complaining, and as such, indeed less people have been coming back. I would think it unwise as a developer/publisher to discredit complaints simply because they come from a gaming community! Notes: - these numbers are just restricted to PC, and specifically Steam, and because the game can no longer be bought on Steam, we can't expect this number to increase due to new purchases, so what would it take to get people to launch the game again? - stats taken from steamcharts(dot)com, please scrutinize as seen fit - I'd imagine other platforms have similar trends, but have the added benifit of new players being incorporated into the pool from new purchases, which would likely dampen downward trends - This is my opinion and conclusions drawn from the limited statistics we have publicly accessible (remember when the in-game queue list had numbers instead of just 'GOOD'? lol)

@@hhaste I mean, this whole hitbox discussion started from this seasons battle pass car from what Ive seen also this seasons update seems to have broken some kinda networking thing on my end, used to have a solid connection (still do in any other game) but have a lot of lag now

I get what you're saying, but the main reason I still play RL is because it's 100% free of gimmicks and "the meta", everyone can play in their own style and still win. I would absolutely HATE having to start dealing with car loadouts and stats. In my opinion, this would effectively kill the game that I've come to love. It would create enough fundamental changes that I wouldn't be playing the same game anymore. Save those types of changes for events or extra modes. Leave the competitive aspects as they are. However, I DO agree with the point in the video that the existing hitboxes and cars need to be fixed for consistency.

it would just make the game unfair and less competitive. Pro matches would be a mess with everyone swapping cars to get counters. I'd rather have them come out with cars that match the existing hitboxes

@@anonihme5142 just have the specifc 6 hitboxes be allowed in pro games then, but have their be more that could maybe just be for the casual playlist or something idk the game really does get boring because there's a lack of variation in anything bumblebee was the first car to actually do something new but it was just a cosmetic item that only shows when you win
