That is a beautiful spread of food! I spent two summers studying abroad in Russia (I have a degree in Russian language) and it was a custom to eat late and go out late. I remember once I left a shindig at 3 am and people asked if I wasn’t having fun and I remember saying that I just couldn’t keep up. Ha! That was in Saint Petersburg and I was worried about walking alone at night back to my hostel but there were sooo many people still out. I’ll never forget those summers in Russia. It was large spreads of food like this when we would visit people. I couldn’t believe it.
