There was a Rod Serling movie called encounter with the unknown and this same exact story is told yet it occurs in Arkansas. They even mentioned the Dallas story. Ya 'think' it's made up? Of course it is.

I was 13 in 1978. Really enjoyed your video. I hate that they changed Six Flags up over the years and doesn't look the same since the early 80's! Loved The Roaring Rapids! Wish we could go back to the good old days! Your tacos looked so good and now I'm hungry for some tacos, 😂! Cool train robbery!

To me the guy on the horse is a distraction (nothing against him... he's a nice guy). Seems folks want to pet the horse more than watching the other actors to their thing.

I was 1 yr old in 1978. Lol. We left right before you got there. We managed to go on everything we wanted to ride, and decided to leave when the second rain shower hit.

I’ve seen the SDC train robbery 6 weeks ago the once we like what over Texas does better of course SDC has the bigger budget though but I think ours it’s great even though it’s just temperarally. Missouri and Texas are different history wise in a lot of ways I think the horse adds to it makes it Texan.

Ya wanna talk about cost.... SDC has never had a horse or a trained rider in their show for 50 years... Yes it is cheesy but that is the way it was written.... SDC does it way better....

The guy that created the leg lamp lived in Chickasha. He was a professor at OU. His original leg lamp is on display just down the street at the Grady County Historical Society.

They have a place where you can buy merch of the lamp. You should see that lamp at night in all its glowing sex. The Christmas time celebrations in that town during November and December is unbelivable one the best in the nation. It's called the Festival of Light. The Leg Lamp was inspired from a lamp a OU college Proffesor had made for his office. Some of the production crew who went to OU and had that proffesor. They asked if he can use his idea of the lamp as prop in the movie . The rest was Pop Culture history.

GA has much better food!! I miss my home park so much. It’s beautiful! You used to be able to drive your own cars through the safari! Have great stories from those days. Glad you didn’t ride green lantern. That coaster wrecked me!!!

they brought back driving your own car through the safari in 2020 once covid hit, and they kept it all the way through last year. However this year they reverted it back to no cars again sadly

My home park! I don’t know if you got on toro but I think this is from when they had all of the same ride models like toro closed around the world. Don’t know why they were closed but they were.
