Are you in Africa? Because I've applied for my passport and I'm trying to set in motion somewhere as to be financially able to get out of America. Anyway not saying black acres of Gambia are exaggerating about being on the continent. Plus , I watch their KZfaq channel , but I wonder if I just went over to the continent with only 1000 in American currency what would exactly happen if I wanted to get straight to learning how to survive in Africa and it's hard saving money over here in America . But I guess I got to figure it out because of the course this country is going in like with gutting affirmative action which was supposedly meant to give black born descendants of black slaves born in this country some kinds of protections from discrimination along with other civil rights laws that was supposedly set aside to give black people some protection rights leads me to wonder if they may take away rights for us to atleast get passports? So hopefully everything go ok and I get my passport I will definitely strive towards finding my way on the other side of the Atlantic ocean because it's getting that bad here.

Then they just tacked on a water and sewer bill which it runs about $60 a month they are trying to kill us and before you know it they're not even going to allow us to live off-grid here in America there already stopping people from having wood burning stoves. Thank you because they are never going to give us our preparations are making up all types of excuses not to pay what they owe us. Even if there were black people who owned slaves they had to buy their freedom and then they only did what they thought what was economically good for them was to purchase either their family members and other slaves. That's what they thought living was to have slaves to own slaves you were wealthy. But that still does not negate the fact that those people who owned slaves were slaves.

Black Africans from the continental of Africa go to America because of the opportunity to make higher wages as the wages - cost of living on the continent of Africa are deplorable. Average Diasporans moving to the continent of Africa must have a financial life line to survive. It’s the same in all countries that were colonisers, the diaspora are held down treated worse than any other peoples yet it’s the African stolen people that built the country plus it’s other stolen island in the Caribbean, many Diaspora are leaving Britain France Germany Holland and many more countries as being of African decent you just can not get ahead even to get a bank loan to open up a business if you are Asian particularly Indian Pakistani you get one easily, that’s why there are few African and diaspora that have businesses or even a house you can sell. Now it’s well past the time we should leave as war is on the horizon and the black people will get the worst affects of it as per usual you go to university get a degree in Physics/Math and still cannot get a decent job many Africans to come to Britain with degrees they don’t even recognise their degrees in this country. Born here or not if you are African or descendant or Diaspora you can not get ahead in politics University schooling. Leave if you can take your talents and use them in any part of Africa you choose you will benefit the people as well as yourself and family.blessings to you all.

True sister but what I think we as BA need to do is just find and area in Africa to buy ..We can do it because even in Africa we are sometimes not accepted...like a city where everyone will speak the common language and no one will call us bad names...we have doctors, lawyers, engineers, nurses and the list goes on ..we could really be comfortable as black Americans..The same way that we built America we could honest pull our resources together and really and truly have something of our own..IJS

Lovely couple. They are correct. A lot of Continental Africans come to the USA and are doing work that's NOT in their league. I met Lawyers who are Taxi Drivers. Business Men who are Food preps. For every 10 Africans that leave the Continent, only 2 might be doing well, in the US or Western Europe. The other 8😢, not so much. Yet they still make the dangerous journey, in hopes to marry a local (the men more than the women), so they might have a better chance.

Thumbs up to rick on the part where he mentions about some diasporians not being honest to their people back home. We the African people abroad need to tell the truth to our families and friends about the struggle life we living here.

We do tell our people the living conditions in the diaspora despite us sending them money but they don't believe us. Imagine you living in Africa and could bearly afford anything or giving any of your family or friend a dime, and after traveling you start sending them $100-200 without them knowing how you even squeeze to starve yourself and send them that money. No matter how you trying to explain to them they would never believe and now am done explaining. All am working on now is how I can repatriate back to the motherland.

God Bless Rick & Cynthia.Seems like they work hard on the farm.I am a City person, my ex husband was the grandson of a share cropper & told me some about farm life in North Carolina...working in the hot sun sometimes. Understandably, that is farm life.I felt,it was unusual not to have running water & a toilet in the house!.Growing up in the City, we always had that in our apartments. I was raised by my mother early in life,in Harlem,NYC.Myother can relate to what SJM said about violence that existed in Harlem where she lived for 3 years until she moved out of Harlem. The fact that someone was killed in front of the building we lived in prompted my mother to relocate to the Bronx ( a much safer area, by far)! Years ago, there was a lot of Drug dealings in Harlem, which gave Harlem a bad name.It has been stipulated that this was intentionally done in Harlem by evil 😈 forces, out of disrespect to this Black community.Drug peddling probably was not tolerated in white communities, because law enforcement prevented the distribution of drugs in white communities? The Black community wasn't respected & drug dealings was widespread in Harlem!...an intentional 😈!evil that led to gun violence. If a youth sold drugs,he subject himself to: getting arrested,beat-up by police or opposing Gang, getting shot & killed, becoming an addict,a poor example of a father to his children, who he will abandon if sent to prison for selling drugs, leaving others to raise his children ,or foster care known to harbor MUCH ABUSE for children raised in foster care! So, if one is not raised to be GOD fearing, you were subject to this lifestyle!
