Get Surfshark VPN at Surfshark.deals/RYOW - Use Code 'RYOW' for 83% off and 3 months FREE! We moved into an RV in CANADA! We have lived in our motorhome on and off for 4 years now. We bought her for £3600 off Ebay on a whim. She’s a Class C Mercedes variously 814d and a lot of people ask us why didn’t you get a 4x4 Sprinter?
We threw ourselves into a big bus but wanted to know - how would it feel to go bigger?! RV is so interesting to us bring Brits - it’s not something we really do in the UK.
In this video we rent and drive an MHC 9.2m (31 foot) Class C Coachman Leprechaun RV on a round trip from Toronto to Ottawa. It takes petrol and sleep around 10 people - we’ll give you the full tour in the video!
We park in RV park ups and campsites which cost us $66 pn and are more like resorts! Canada really knows how to do #vanlife
We love living an off grid, sustainable lifestyle that anyone can afford and we can highly recommend RV living! This RV trip in Canada was a test drive for us to see if we’d like to ship our bus Custard over next year for a full on Canadian road trip - I think we decided to do it!

Champions all of your for watching ❤
Would you be brave enough to take MegLaDonna on a road trip?! 😆 Maybe you have your own RV!? (Can I have a look inside?)
We didn’t mention it in the video either but seeing as we’re planning on doing Canada - who thinks we should dip into the USA too?
(Just a thought! If enough people want to see it - we’ll HAVE to do it!)

As a Canadian, I totally think an extended visit in Custard would be an amazing adventure. I live on the Sunshine Coast (British Columbia) and think that should be first on the list! The east coast is a must, Newfoundland, and Cape Breton for sure. Some friends of mine own a campground called BaysideRV campground, in Oyster Bay, PEI. Pretty sure you should stop there for Saturday night bingo

You’ve got to cover the east coast of Canada - it is often overlooked by the beauty of the West, but PEI’s red sands and confederation bridge is beautiful… so is a quaint little town called St Andrew’s by the sea in New Brunswick, where the tides are so low you can walk far out looking for seashells and mermaid’s tears. You’re already seeing the beauty of Ontario’s fall colours. On the way west you drive through the prairies (hard to stay awake lol) and after about a week of driving you end up on the west coast of BC, after travelling through the Rockies, which is a sight in itself. You will love exploring Canada!

Northern Ontario is absolutely stunning. Lake superior Provincial park, Killarney and sleeping giants are a few of the must sees. Cabot trail is a must as well. Bay of Fundy and National parks of bc and Alberta. From coast to coast there is so much to experience and it's all amazing. My whole google map of Canada is covered in starred places to see and even though I spent 2 months driving coast to coast I only scratched like 2% of them off. You will not regret exploring this country.

I live in Kingston and couldn't believe my fav KZfaqrs were in the city!! SOOO cool to see you guys appreciate the beauty of our country. I CANNOT WAIT to see your tour next year. I've lived in Canada my whole life pretty much (35yrs) and I've only seen Ontario, Quebec/Montreal, and recently the Rocky Mountains in Jasper this past summer tent camping. (As you can see it's very expensive to travel this country 😭❤️) They say once you see the beauty of the Rockies, you carry a piece of them with you. SO true!! Their isnt enough words to explain the beauty. I'd say us Canadians are pretty proud people. Most people you come across are so friendly and the way you converse with them, you'd never know they are strangers. We're so happy to have had you here and can't wait for you to see the rest of the place! And for the rest of us who also haven't been to some of the provinces, seeing it through yours and custards eyes (and headlights 😜) is beyond exciting!!!!! Thank you guys for sharing your awesome adventures with us 😘😘❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦💞

Guys! You are so hilarious! Thank you for making me laugh today 😄 I’m a Canadian living abroad (Bali) and this video made me so homesick!😅 Canada really is amazing and I’m stoked you’ll be coming back to do the full tour! Make sure you hit Jasper, Banff and Canmore when you’re in Alberta. But my absolute favourite place is Abraham Lake near Nordegg, AB. If you go in the winter you can see the bubbles in Abraham Lake (Google it-it’s amazin’). If you go in the summer it’s also incredibly beautiful, lots of hiking and camping in that area. It's so beautiful seeing you fall in love with Canada! Fall is also one of the best times to be here. I'm a British Columbia native and some places I'd highly recommend driving through in our province are northern BC (Prince George, Smithers, Williams Lake - there's tons of wildlife and such good camping), Whistler/Squamish (Whistler has a Scandinave spa & amazing skiing, hiking, shops), the Okanagan (Canada's largest desert and home to some amazing wineries) and then, of course, Vancouver. There are also tons of little islands off the coast that you can take little ferries to - my favourites being Quadra and Saltspring. Vancouver Island has incredible camping & surfing and is a must-see too. My grandparents have RV'd across Canada coast-to-coast several times and still find new things to explore each time, it's truly one of the best places to see by driving! Can't wait for you to see it yourselves! :)

I absolutely loved this one. Thanks guys. When we first arrived in Canada many moons ago from England, I saw turkeys in a tree down the road from our house and thought they were buzzards 🤣 As for the beaver tails, I thought they were real and obviously didn’t want to try them 🙄 Can’t wait till you do the big tour of Canada in Custard. You have to come to Nova Scotia where we live. Our home is in Liverpool (yes I know). It’s so beautiful and a list as long as your arm of things you must do but the most important don’t miss is the Cabot Trail in Cape Bretton. I've been lucky to travel coast to coast. If you're doing it, I'm so excited for the adventure you will find in our beautiful country. The Maritimes are very history rich (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI) with lots of fortresses and historical sites throughout. Nova Scotia- Canada's ocean playground (be sure to leave Halifax and check out cape Breton and also the Annapolis Valley, the south shore), PEI - land of Anne of Green Gables, Cows Ice Cream and Red Dirt! NB- Canada's only true bilingual province, we really enjoyed our time in the South eastern part of the province with Fundy National Park, Hopewell Rocks, Giant Lobster, Balloon Fest in Sussex, and the beaches on the warm Northumberland coast). Quebec - old Quebec and old Montreal for sure! Rawdon in the summer was fun. Sugar shacks for all the maple you can imagine. Ontario is really big but since you've seen Toronto, take time to do the national museums in Ottawa, each are phenomenal, Niagara Falls, the Ottawa Valley is beautiful, Northern Ontario is almost like its own thing, very Canadian wilderness! Kenora is someplace I want to go back to, and Thunder Bay (I really liked the area when I drove thru). Manitoba in my opinion is best in summer - it's SOOOO cold in winter. Manitoba - the forks in Winnipeg, the human rights museum in Winnipeg, lake country in Manitoba is amazing and the geographic center of Canada is in Manitoba. Saskatchewan I haven't don't much exploring in yet, but I do wanna check out the grasslands national park. I reside in Alberta, so much to see (badlands, Rockies (Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper), Foothills, Calgary, Edmonton) and do here in any season but it does get quite cold in winter. BC JUST GO DO IT ALL!!! Every region, in my opinion BC is just the most amazing place for nature in Canada. On my bucket list - Yukon Territory. I've often said to my partner if I could take a year and just take in Canada slowly one province at a time in a van it would be amazing. ;)

We hired a camper van in Canada and travelled for 5weeks. It was brilliant fun. We started in Vancouver and travelled to the Rockies, Banff Lake Louise etc and went to the badlands to go dinosaur hunting and on to Calgary for the stampede. Would definitely go back there one day. There is nothing like driving down a highway and seeing a Grizzly Bear just walking in a field, or seeing a black bear trying to chase down a baby bambi and we are cheering for bambi when it gets away. Now you've done it.... you're going to be addicted to RV life in Canada. We just did the summer season RVing through the Rockies and it was epic. Our old boy (Monte) was nowhere near as flash as Megladonna though.

So happy to see you in Canada!! You must bring Custard over!! It is so easy to get around from coast to coast and go road tripping/camping. You have to come back and actually do Ottawa! The places nearby are great but Ottawa has some great summer and winter festivals, food spots (plenty of vegan options) and places to see!!

Bonjour!! I am so happy to see that you made it to Canada!! I love you guys!! Love your spirits, your great laughs and your kindness💓 If you come back to Canada, you HAVE to come to the smallest province of Canada ( Prince Edward Island, aka PEI!) I am originally from northern Québec but have been on this little piece of paradise for 29 years! Check it out!! The views , the water, one of the longest bridge in the world to come here! 14 km, and the sunsets….beautiful!! Au revoir! Keep doing what you are doing! Love it😘😘

Loved this episode! As a Canadian 🇨🇦 who grew up camping most weekends, this is a fairly typical Ontario campground! Looks like a conservation area or private campground that have more room for the huge RVs. If you come back definitely check out the Provincial Parks like Killbear or Algonquin that are more off the grid and STUNNING! Custard would easily fit in the camper sites!😊

Vinyl gloves are a must when handling the stinky slinky. Hold the end of the slinky under the discharge when removing the cap to capture the initial drainage. Rinse out the slinky with clean water when finished. Put the slinky in a large plastic bag and place it inside a plastic box with a sealed lid. Five minute job tops.

The Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia is heaven on earth for me, absolutely stunning. The west coast of Newfoundland, in particular Gros Morne National Park is quite beautiful as well. If you're there in June you may be able to see some icebergs. The Muskoka region and Algonquin Park in Ontario are gorgeous.

What a great video guys! You guys should totally do a Canadian road trip there are so many beautiful places to see from coast to coast. If you guys wanted some suggestions here are some based on places I've travelled to (I'm from southern Ontario)! In New Brunswick the Bay of Fundy is a must see with tons of cool rock formations and you can even go kayaking through them. In Quebec aside from the main cities, I would recommend visiting Montmorency falls as their taller than the Niagara Falls, and you can zipline over them. Also in Quebec, Tadoussac is know for their whale watching and when I went we saw at least 5. Gaspesie is also a beautiful and lowkey seaside town in Quebec that is really nice. In Ontario I would suggest visiting some provincial parks like Algonquin or Killbear and camping up there, on a clear night the stars are so visible it's nuts. Point Pelee National Park in southern Ontario has some great bird watching in the spring and is the southern most point of Canada! I would also recommend visiting Pinery Provincial Park for some amazing Southern Ontario beaches. Elora is also a cute little town that has some good shopping, restaurants, and a gorge and a quarry that are cool to check out and swim in. Out west in Alberta there's Banff and Jasper National Park that are amazing places to visit. In them I would recommend driving the Icefields Parkway as it's such a beautiful drive surrounded by mountains. There are so many beautiful hikes in the area that you really can't go wrong with whichever you chose. They also have amazing skiing in the winter months depending on when you'll be there. I can't wait to see you guys explore Canada I know you'll love it here❤

I'm from an area in Quebec called the Eastern Townships It's a beautiful area and quite touristy especially in the winter (theres 5 ski hills that are all within an hour drive from where I live) and in the summer theres beautiful lakes and rivers you can go on and golf courses that are amazing. Not to mention because the area borders the U.S we are a heavily english part of Quebec. I think you guys would love all the adventures you could have here!

Old Quebec City, Nova Scotia, Niagara Falls, Tobermory, Algonquin Park, the Rockies, and the list just keeps on going!

If you come to Niagara area, I have a rural residential property with plenty of room for you to park. You could use my water, but I don't have hook up for electricity of enough voltage for an rv...and you'd need to go to the dump station to empty the tanks. You'd be about 15 minutes from either Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake. Use this place as a springboard. I'm a senior woman, been laughing around with you guys for a year or so. Happy to drive you around a bit. So, if you come back with Custard do come here. If you've still around when you read this, please contact.

Western Canadian here! Make sure you hit up the Rockies in some way! Alberta side would be Banff, Canmore or lake Louise (some incredible scenic hikes in these areas) BC side for mountains would be revelstoke for sure. Southern BC has some beautiful wineries if your into that kind of thing Tofino BC is a gorgeous little spot on the edge of the ocean known for its slow surfing lifestyle but absolutely gorgeous You can do some whale watching in Vancouver but you’ll need to time your trip right as this is seasonal. We Canadians can’t wait to have you guys here!
