EDIT: I could've sworn she won, but the fact is she was nominated for the Emmy twice but didn't win it. Pity, I say!

I met Vicki at a convention in Las Vegas in 2018. She was there to promote a FOX sitcom that, unfortunately, lasted just the one season. After her panel, I told her I remembered her work on WLoD -- and she was surprised.

This is the daytime show, which aired on NBC. Dick Clark did the nighttime, syndicated show. He also hosted Pyramid in syndication and on CBS daytime. Networks wouldn't let their daytime stars on appear on each other's daytime shows. (I think. It might be that they wouldn't let them book each other's stars.) How great would it have been for Dick to appear on a show that Vicki hosted?
