Lol, bro just started balling out like this a few months ago. He has always been a good player, but he is young on a young team who hasn't proven anything in playoffs yet. Once him, Shai and Chet are able to dominate in the playoffs, they wont get their full praise

@@snupedummy It isn't the casuals fault, it is just how the NBA works. He didn't come into the league with a name or clout and he plays for a young team in a small market, he is the second option behind the MVP, therefore pushing him in the media wouldn't move the needle for the NBA

Make an interesting take for once. What’s the point of pointing out the obvious once it’s already obvious ? That’s not a take that’s a simple observation. I believe J Dubb has it. More efficient, better D, more translatable post season game and will be an MVP level player.

@@shabazz360 There's a ton of "Second year James Harden" with immense potential out there. Tyreke Evans, Michael Carter-Williams, Victor Oladipo, Jalen Green, etc. but none of them became James Harden. Is it literally impossible that J-Dub becomes James Harden with defense (Which is basically Jerry West)? No. Everything is possible. I could win the lottery tomorrow and become a billionaire but the odds are one in millions, if not more. I'm not saying J-Dub becoming Harden with defense is as unlikely as winning the lottery, but for every "James Harden" there are tens of failures, and many of them still turned out to be good if not great players. Victor Oladipo was an All-star. Zach LaVine was an All-star as well. The point is, MVP-level Top-50 all-time guys are really rare, and it's not a bad thing that they didn't reach that level. Would I be surprised if J-Dub gets the PG career arc with multiple All-NBA selections and a year where he's Top-5 in MVP? No. But a multi-year MVP contender, Top-3 offensive engine in the league and a Top-15 peak ever? That's way too unlikely.

As a Thunder fan we all know SGA is the man and an mvp candidate but the most important player on the team is J-Dub. His ability to create his own shot and his 4th qtr scoring has been the key to the Thunders success. They really miss him a lot when he does not play. Nobody else on the team can take pressure off of SGA like he can. Absolute superstar in the making!!!!!!!

Last season his biggest flaw was the 3 shot. This season his 3 is up 10% from 35% to 45%. 3rd best in the NBA. He turned a weakness into a strength.

I think chet could become the best or 2nd best player on okc with his ability to shoot and block shots but Williams has can be that second best player a very efficient two way player also side sga chet just need to increase his scoring and his rebounding hes 7'1 barley avg 8 rebs he should be avg like 11rbs but Williams can be like a better kris from the bucks and avg arounf 26-27 5 and 5 on like 50-45-88 splits

The Oklahoma city thunder as a whole is just crazy. shai is probably the most successful shot creator in the league, and he's paired next to j Dub, who's almost the perfect teammate, always ready to be open and a playmaker. Hes litterally top 5 in 3pt percentage this year. They're also with chet who is legit like the perfect modern center he's a top 5 shot blocker and nearly a 40% 3pt shooter. I mean, dort is a 40 percent 3pt shooter and a candidate for all defense. Only weakness the team has is rebounding. They are surrounded by shooters in cason wallace and Isiah joe. I'd bet they're just a couple of years away from being champion caliber contenders
