We need to talk about Sebastian Aho

I created this video to show that Sebastian Aho is having one of the best seasons of his career so far and it’s not being talked about enough. Aho is on pace to set a new career high in assists and points. He has been the Carolina Hurricanes best player for a long time. He is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. He is also one of the most consistent players in the NHL. Sebastian Aho does it all for the Hurricanes. He’s great both 5 on 5 and in special teams, especially on the PK. I think that Aho is going to bring this momentum into the playoffs and will lead the Carolina Hurricanes to being a Stanley Cup Contender.

Sebastian Aho is my favourite cane he is by far there best 2 way forward and playmaker And one of the best goal scorers in the Nhl

Yes! Some well deserved love for Seabass. I have no doubt he could have way higher point production, but he plays in a defensive system in Carolina and they use him in all situations (PK included). One of the biggest draft steals in the past decade, going to Carolina 35th overall.

As 17 he clinched the championship for Kärpät in the Finnish Liiga. He's been as we call it in Finnish "kevään miehiä" (men of spring) always. He's at his best when the POFs begin

Aho's brain operates at the same frequency as McDavid's. Insanely entertaining player whose point total is somewhat limited by Brind'Amour's system. Tied at #1 for my favorite Finnish players.

@@Ratchettiyes it was very clear who was the brains behind the success of that line. His defensive game was the reason they got to attack so much. Points were pretty even between the three players.

Fishy is an insane 2-way player. Even when he's not lighting up the score sheet he plays elite 200x85 hockey. Unequivocal first liner for any team and the best Hurricane by a long shot. He doesn't have the numbers to garner the attention like MacKinnon McDavid Matthews etc. but he's a guy who should be a perennial selke candidate and probably deserves it this year

My fav player. Bern watching him since he played in Oulun kärpät. He was a great in playoffs even at 17 years old when he scored the finnish chanmpionship goal in game 7 overtime.

@@JPR_76 Opinions obv, you are just as right as I am. But to be fair his teamates are far from elite when it comes to scoring itself. Carolina is a team first with no superstars, good for them. Put Aho in some super offensive minded team and he would get much more "free" points to add to his overall tally.
