We head to India at Mahindra's SUV Proving Track about an hour out of Chennai to put a couple of models through their paces. With more than 450 acres of on and off-road testing facilities and even a high speed banked track, this is like Disneyland for cars.

Scorpio N also gets a hidden feature. It will give you rollercoaster experience as there is a flaw in car which causes the front wheel assembly to come off.

For them India is Third world country. Sometimes it's not derogatory.they just use this phrase because lack of sophisticated infrastructure, corruption,low living standards, hygiene etc. ..put together makes another world for them.Some white folks use it as a Racist where as Some or majority whites use that phrase casually to refer the plight of another world.

Great Vehicle ScorpioN but let down by annoying software bugs! My trip meters reset automatically and I also have that loose steering feeling as if steering rack or a suspension component is loose! Very annoying and poor R&D!

There is a limit but they are using this at Mahindra’s driving track so they can drive fast as they want ( inside the driving range )

There a 6th reason about Mahindra reliability l know of a fleet of Mahindra Pick-ups that have done over 500000 kilometres which a lot of there competition will never archive and isn't that the most important thing buyers should consider and this why Toyota sell so many vehicles in Australia and there nothing wrong with vehicles made in India we own a Suzuki Baleno made in India and on my list of countries that build rely reliable vehicles l have added India to my list includes Japan of course and the other country which unfortunately do not build cars any more and that is Australia

xuv is a crossover hence X in the name and it cant do off road it's a highway cruiser

It has high ground clearance and a torque engine .Why wouldn't it serve offloading ?

@@Rahul_Singh100 because it has mono chasis and not body over frame, why does it matter? because it is stiff and stiff things trying to offroad would flip over. it has mcpherson suspension which are single wishbone and not double wishbone which is also important for off road. and many other difference like axel and things. it's not made for off road, think of it as big sedan but it's a utility car and hence comes a crossover suv like XUV. germans started this and it became popular. most suvs in india is like this including all those small suvs like creta. only off road i can think of is scorpio, fortuner,mux and that's it
