Simpsons Boatyard Camp site is on the northern edge of the Norfolk Broads, at the head of the River Ant at Stalham, Norfolk. The Camping field is just over the lane from the boatyard where the facilities block is located.
This is a basic field but adequate, there is a parking area at one end that is used by people visiting the boatyard.
When arriving you can park in the car park and go over to reception, you can get keys for the facilities but they do require a £20 deposit which is returned when you return the keys.
It is a very short walk to the town, although you do have to cross the A149 which is busy but there is an island in the road to use which helps. There is also a Tesco store for stocking up on anything you may need, but I would recommend getting a Tesco Clubcard as in all stores now the prices are cheaper if you use your card an many everyday items.
