My hens, AKA, my girls are spoiled. We never dispatch them for any reason, they give the best eggs ever and when they are done laying, they finish out their lives in retirement. Lol. I very much love and respect my animals. Thank you for your kind words.

I live in Florida and the other day I went out in the yard and there was a chicken in my yard . I don't know where he came from ,but after trying to get him , he flew up onto the top of the fence and then flew up on to my neighbors roof .He was really pretty . I live in an area where there are a lot of houses close together , no open areas . So I don't have a clue where he came from or where he went LOL

I am a meat and potatoes girl. Tell Tracy here in the south we call the "one Brussel sprout" a decorate. It looks good on the plate but may or may not (read: probably will not) be eaten. 😂

Here in Knoxville Tenn they only allow a few backyard chickens and no roosters are allowed. You are lucky you are permitted to have that many. I live in the county and we now only have 3 left two of which lay. We have One which is now a pet. We lost one last week from unknown reasons. I found her on the nest dead. I have a feeling she got an egg stuck. I let them free roam and that night I went to lock them up and I found her dead. She was already stiff. My son will not eat their eggs though. He refers store bought. Our eggs are richer in color but he still will not eat them. I cannot stand roosters. My Uncle had a mean one and I would visit with them and they only had an outhouse and that dang rooster would flog us kids coming out. That I guess traumatized me.

I was wondering if you could do a video or chat about how long you can freeze different foods, I’m from Australia and my family and I are going on a houseboat trip in just 3 months time, I’m making some chicken, beef and turkey recipes as well as your breakfast muffins, your openface pizza buns and your sheetpan pancake as well as massive amounts of other foods, we are only going for a week but there will be 10 of us and I’d like to make a heap of meals beforehand.
