Jealousy mixed with envy. Everything looks so wonderful and it is, but it takes a lot of work to get to that point to make a top notch vlog like Stephanie makes. I'm sure she is completely worn out at the end of a day working for our entertainment. Thank you Stephanie and all who help you.

Anyone who is leaving negative comments has never thrown a big soirée. The fact that Stephanie is smiling is amazing. I’d be a very snippy person at this point before a big event, regardless of how well it was coming together. These are good people. And also my gosh, commenters should leave mum alone. She’s tired and stressed for goodness sake. Let her be.

Stephanie so much has changed since started watching your channel. You were doing all the cooking and then other people were helping with the cooking and then it was Maria and now it's the fantastic Marie. You have people helping with the gardens and a full-time person doing the vegetables. I just love watching how things are growing and how much love and laughter there still is

@@ninofromsicilia they bought flowers last year to supplement theirs, all the flowers are locally grown so they are heo the local economy And yes they eat potatoes so what, Albalin has reduced the number they grow. Plus they are feeding 150+ people, that's a lot of carrots. Why be so negative

Isabelle has gotten more sunny as the years role by ...she's gone from lemons to lemonade. Just you watch she'll soon turn into a sweet peach. I like her ...she's real, and she does strive to improve things around her. She just gets a bit frustrated sometimes. My mom was the same way, especially around stressful times like the holidays, when so much had to get done.

You can tell Amauri was in charge of putting up the marques! Putting the canvas on whilst it was still on the floor was the way I’d have done it. Anyone who’s ever organised an event will know there are certain things which can only be done last minute .

I’ve been watching you for almost day one, some of us need to realize that some of the stuff has been going on weeks prior to the patron day. Stephanie and Phillip. Our only recommendation is to only rent the marquee and chairs. We have the same kind of weather as Lalande and it rains. We have hosted many weddings and the tent would have been moldy if we tried to put it away!

This is so exciting and a lot of planning and hard work is going towards the Patron day being the success it’s quite obviously going to be. I’m not sure that I’ve ‘seen’ LaLande looking quite as spectacular. The walled garden is luscious with gorgeous flowers, greenery and salad etc. The romantic archways are sublime! You all work together like a well oiled machine. What a fantastic bunch you all are!! I can’t wait to see the Patron Day in all its glory!! Really hope everything goes well and the weather remains as it is! Marie has a lot of prepping and cooking to do in readiness and it looks as if she has it under control! Nice to see Michael Potts again, camera in hand for some of his marvellous photography!! I wish I were coming to the festivities and to see all that is going on at the Chateau, especially the Chapel! Something to share that I heard from another Chateau vlog.."Take Rosebush throned stems and put several into the "mole hole" that has been dug up and it won't hurt the mole, but it will discourage them from digging in the area - have to put the throrned stems in ALL of the mole holes as they are seen - PLEASE TRY

It’s spelled just like my daughter Isabelle❤ I smiled throughout the vlog of course but Isabelle saying, “I’m forever watering”😂 I totally understood her hesitation between yes I know I have to rest and the plants needing their water and it does take a really long time when it’s by using a watering can. I also encounter this whilst in the garden and hearing all those plants saying what about me lol when you had intended on doing one here and there but feel that nature calling to you. ❤ you mummy and love to all of you such a joy!! Let’s also see this graffiti hat Michael mentioned please. Everyone’s hair was really great Annalise.

Stephanie I do not know what will get you more in trouble: if the fact that the chateau is not ready for the guests or the fact that Mommy is at the chateau and things are not ready. Lol😅 I love Mummy! She has so much energy and her help and opinion certainly are important. ❤ After all the hard work, Chateau Lalande will be ready for the guests and every detail will stuning as usual. ❤

I’m in Portugal and at night we have the windows open and the lights on, maybe 1 or 2 little moths will come in.

Birds need the insects for protein ...worms too. I could live without the disease-bearing ones like mosquitos though!

Oh how lovely this year Patron Days will be, and wishing I could be one of them. If I were younger and wiser with my funds I’d would have saved so I could have been able to afford to be one of your Patrons. Unfortunately, this it was not in my future. 🙁 But I was able to buy a star in the Chapel. And that made me happy. If my husband and I die before you, I will make sure to put it in my will to make sure that I send you a special gift for the château as I truly believe in your love for this beautiful place that you call home. You are my inspiration and my favorite person to watch and make my day so much happier with all the good that you are. Thank you for all wonderful things that you share with the world and the family that you have over there that you have that you have brought us into our homes and invited us to share with you and together the world gets to see the beauty of this wonderful life that you created.
