After a full year living on the road is a tiny Ford Transit Connect, we are finally returning to home base. Our U.S.A. road trip has officially come to an end, and this is our last video taking place in the States. Thank you for being a part of our U.S.A. adventure, and we will see you in eight days with our road trip “documentary.”
Also- although the road trip is over, we will still be making videos as we fly out of the States in a few weeks to our first international country in over a year and a half! Countdown to full-time international travel starts now!

Wow, well congrats kids ! It’s been a fun ride along with you, seems like time flew by. I’m sure there will be things you will miss, and things you won’t miss 😊. It’s such a great test of your relationship to be with each other 24/7, and looks to us like you are a great couple together. 😊. It’s rare to find “the one” in life and lasts for 50+ yrs. you learn so much about each other. I’m sure your going to have a great forever marriage, and maybe little “chads and Claire’s “ someday ? Lol. But for now, enjoy life. I look forward to your international travels 😊, 8 days until your documentary ! What will I watch until then ? Lol. I started watching your travel videos about a week ago ... and find them totally addictive !!! Great in so many ways - scenery; cooking; philosophy; technology; love and friendship ... and soooo much more. Surreal. Catching up on east coast since found you after but as said, sad yet excited for your new adventures. Photography and music were comforting. Showing blissful side of relationship yet talking about reality of living so close was reassuring. Intrested in facts of international travel plans. Please keep posted. Blessings. I've gained so much inspiration from watching you guys. Things that I never thought to be possible, you have accomplished. You all make me want to dream bigger, work harder and really cherish every living moment more. The "live more with less" mentality truly is the way to go. You get your total fill from God's creation and each other. That's all you really need. Living simplitically is the way to true happiness. Not needing all the stuff, but instead sharing experiences with the one you love. I'm so ready to take a similar journey once my pocketbook allows! I can't wait to enjoy and be present in every moment. Thanks Chad and Claire. Dont stop sharing your highs and lows. Ahhh I’m so sad that your adventure is over! My boyfriend and I just finished up our 2-month road-trip! It’s such a bittersweet feeling. I’m so excited to get home and see my family, but so sad to be ending this exploration. Can’t wait to see your next adventure!

I felt the same way about the humidity when we reached Missouri! We got rain in Kentucky and the smell felt like home! My husband and I were saying that South Dakota reminded us of the computer wall paper from Microsoft's Windows XP!

I just discovered you guys a few days ago, as ive been looking for van conversion ideas, and am also thinking of a transit connect! you guys mentioned in the first van vid that it has 200k miles on the clock, which is quite a lot. Did you encounter any problems with it at all? I live in Manchester, England and the furthest I am planning on driving is Scotland, for now, but the vans I'm looking at also have a high milage, and don't want risk it breaking down, any tips on what to look out for when purchasing? thankyou! keep the great content!
