Been so long ago, but the songs remain great,because Jesus was and is and remains the same.... And now… February in 2021… is my prayer that at this time, we continue to believe and trust in God, to seek our strength from Him, because God alone can give us healing, peace. The Lord Jesus said before His return to His Father, “Behold, I am with you all the days, until the end of the world. Amen! So let us put our trust in Him and look forward to That Day with anticipation !! What a wonderful prospect we have!

Wonderful hymns, takes me back to childhood when these hymns were sung every week, we didn't know what modern hymns were. The gospel was simple and these hymns spoke it. I'm age 55 now 🙂🌈

Haha that's funny,but true.and sad.prefer the old ways even worship. Notice the joy/beauty/freedom in the lord that you Feel throughout your being ? This is the way its supposed to be, brothers and sisters in the lord worshipping our God, amen ! We were born to worship God/Jesus amen ! 😂

It may happen,but the gap,is to great at present,the church had not bridged it for years,the youth leave the old sleep,and those inbetween mourn.

The configuraton of the Whitewell tabernacle santuary is very similiar to that of Aimee Simple McPherson's Angelus Temple as it existed in the 20's and 30's in Los Angeles. Not only this, but the spirit and style of the music would have fit very nicely into her services. Sad to say, Aimee's church is now a showcase for rock music and no discernable Christian character.

Christians can not truly sing this as we are bound for glory - it will be literally true of the nation of Israel who forever will be God's earthly people.
