Well the spyglass from black flag lets you see through other peoples eyes, and this card doesn’t give you knowledge your opponents have (Like seeing their hand). So Imma say Flavor Fail!

@@billygregory1547it’s not about the spoilers, it’s about how quickly they’re coming out. Players have barely had any time to enjoy MH3 and it’s already becoming old news because Wizards is releasing so many sets so quickly.

My favorite upgrade that I did to mine was Doppelgang. It's fun to have 3-4 Cloudposts and 3-4 Field of the Dead. Highly recommend.

Best to wait when they 50 bones. 24 packs per box 7 cards per pack it's less than half. 100 card set a ton of repeats

Really disappointed they're not making precon commander decks with this set. I was looking forward to that the most especially with AC being my favorite gaming franchise.

We already get enough commander precon decks though. It is fine if they skip a few sets. Maybe they should do commander decks for universes beyond more and do less for main sets.

Something you didn't mention that also works with this is PLANESWALKERS! Not many of the Sight effects include walkers so this also works pretty well in Superfriends decks. I'm considering it for mine at least

8:40 That's a confusing statement. The fact that it includes historic lands is a bonus that makes the threshold easier to hit, but I don't see how it would affect the threshold itself. Or would they actually say you need 50 tribal cards to include Realmwalker in a deck?

This is a windmill slam in my Temur SuperFriends led by The Sixth Doctor & Yasmin. Plenty of planeswalkers to play from the top and a chance to get at least one copy of it in case one gets removed.

Cool preview card. Kinda glad that there’s not a ton of cards, or precons with this set. There’s already so many cards to keep track of 😅. Feels a little bad for the assassins creed fans who wanted more tho. Interesting point, Josh brought up the fact that if your deck has a bolas’ citadel and sensei’s divining top, your not a 7. Maybe there’s an episode there, about an updated tier list; ie, if you play X cards (citadel, top, etc), your deck isn’t a seven, it’s a BLANK

The skull would probably go into my Arcade Gannon deck. It is pretty pretty artifact heavy with some artifact lands. And the commander's other ability to draw and discard should cover a bit more ground.

Huge fan of Black Flag. Favorite in the series and i think crystal skull can be thrown in my shorakai deck bc it can get those artifacts out and "scry" ahead for more artifacts. Definitely a great replacement for my reality chip thats in the deck

Honestly as far as the boosters go this is much better than Aftermath, and may be a good idea for some UB ip's. They need to tweak it a bit still and get rid of the damn collector boosters, everything should be available in the small undraftable pack

Do cards like Mycosynth Lattice and Encroaching Mycosynth make all of your cards historic by turning all the cards in your deck into artifacts? Because that seems pretty sick with Crystal Skull. Edit: Also Biotransference from 40K, albeit it only hits creatures.

Mycosynth Lattice only makes permanents on the field into artifacts. While they are spells in your deck, they are only colorless, so Crystal Skull wouldn't apply unless it already did so.

When ever I put a card that needs its own synergy that may not be the main point of the deck I try to put at least 10 cards that fit both the synergy of the deck and card that needs synergy. It doesn't have to be the purpose of the deck but 10 cards that fit the historic quota. In less than that and it might be a dead card in hand. Historic is the most encompassing word they could have used there so there's a wide margin of senergies you can support this include with

This is interesting in Lara Croft, Tomb Raider decks but I'm not sure if it's even strong enough to make the cut there. 4 mana is very steep for a rock.

It sounds like a good idea. E&G likes effects that reward you for playing cards from somewhere that isn't your hand and this gives you another way to trigger those

@@jeremiahabbott4469 Depends on what you mean by "immediate effect." If you mean a legendary land that has some sort of enter the battlefield trigger, then basically no. The only legendary land that has an ETB effect is Gallifrey Council Chanberm which Surveils 1. There are a bunch of legendary lands that provide utility, but almost all of the others just have triggered abilities. Things like Yavimaya or Urborg would immediately affect the field upon entering, but that's basically it.

The beyond boosters aren't THAT BAD, it felt bad buying sealed but some of the cards were great, n since the set didn't sell all that well they held their value. Nissa, Ob Nix, Sarkhan, Karn, Tyvar, Narset there were a dozen or so REALLY good and notable cards in aftermath it was just a feel bad opening the sealed product. Assassins Creed is super niche, for only a 100 card set i don't think this style of packs is a terrible idea, but no it probably won't sell that well.

So this is the Fourth Doctor in mono-blue except instead of making a food token when you cast from the top of your library it taps for mana instead. Eh, that's okay I guess. Seems pretty niche for a mana rock though.

This stuff shoulda been like the jurrassic park cards in lost caverns of ixalan. Cramming it in outlaw junction woulda been so much better. but then again i guess OTJ was kinda a flavour fail imo. They never go hard enough on the core concepts of a set it feels like.

I think it could of worked. Problem with Thunder Junction is that it already had so many bonus sheets. There wasnt any room for anymore. The Big Score was an aftermath set that was folded in already. If that wasnt there maybe assassins creed could have worked folded in.

Hold up. It’s nearing a week on from the full release of Modern Horizons 3. You still haven’t put out an upgrade video yet on Tricky Terrain - you know, the one you actually got to reveal… And yet are already putting out content for the next set?? Huh??? In what reality does that make sense.
