Hi Tim & Jo, at first I was worried about the blue ceiling.....but its really grown on me and hope ye are happy too with it, makes that big room very comfy and welcoming.....

Sort of surprised you went with Vinyl Click flooring. Floor fitters hate that product (i'm talking to all you Karndean, Gehrfloor, Amtico etc guys). Mostly as the "click" sections tend to be fragile and can break with movement. They prefer glue down (dryback). Vinyl click, and glue down to a lesser extent, can suffer when installed where there are large areas of glazing due to the heat causing warping of the flooring (glue down less so due to the heat conducting into the floor substrate). You might have been better going for a SPC (Stone Polymer Core) or WPC (Wood Polymer Core) product. These have the advantage of being thicker and, despite still being a vinyl product, more closely resemble a standard laminate floor. They are often available with a built in underlay giving them a slight softer underfoot feeling and are generally fully waterproof have residential warranties of 15years or more and even offer decent commercial warranties. I would recommend that you have some kind of rug where your Patio doors are plus where you have high sun exposure from the windows. If your interested in WPC check out Pro-Tek Flooring or google WPC or SPC.

Looks great. What are the pros and cons of this vs laminate? I've done quickstep laminate a few times. For the join, could you use solid wood profile? Not sure it would blend in, but should be able to get the length. Otherwise silicone gets my vote.

Loose lay vinyl floor may have been better allow the split of each side. Either way looks good 👍
