A surprise weekend getaway for us, to a spot we have never been before. Where we venture into the bushland amidst heavy rain for a truly unique experience! Despite the challenging weather, we explore the lush surroundings, discovering hidden history and cooking up a brisket to die for!

@@MudModsBeers I live remote WA, travelling 6 hrs isn’t that far…I’d be stressing to the max having to drive though all that traffic

The traffic was the killer. Bumper to bumper for about 2.5hrs, both there and back. Bloody nightmare

Beautiful part of the world, just nowhere near enough time there. Will get back on day, when there’s less rain!! 🌧️ we were on it though, nothing else to do 😂😂🍻🍻

The Old Glen Innes Road was constructed using civilian labour during the 1800s. One highlight is the short tunnel carved out of the rock a few kilometres west of Dalmorton.

Convicts did not build the tunnel, do your research.
