2 drops of original dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle with boiled water spray on windscreen make really wet lay sticker on the wet surface position sticker push water out from under sticker let dry job done much easier

Bloody good choice. Should win off-road challenges pretty easy compared to the other 3 (so long as it keeps running). Shame it's only the Laredo as the Limited has LSDs. But still a weapon. Just glad the fuel bill isn't part of the $5k!

Great choice! Wanted to buy one myself with the Diesel engine but we ended up with a much more modern and economic VW Touareg 7P....

Used to have one of those, handled like a boat, chewed through 25lt/100km, but the vari-lock diffs and decent travel made it surprisingly capable, I think you've got a good chance.

This awesome, great choice! With the remaining budget I would get a 4wd Systems Lokka in the rear which you can fit yourself easily as in these you only need to replace the carrier centre which can be done without removing the actual centre (crazy!). Cheap traction aid, which you'll need as it looks like you don't have the 'quadradrive' 4wd system which basically added hydraulic LSDs front and rear, and without any sort of brake lock traction control, or long travel shocks to allow good articulation, you might struggle on the technical stuff. In saying all that, nothing the V8 and plenty of loud pedal can't make up for!
