"We Steal Because You Never Stoned Us for It" -Rivers Gov, Rotimi Amaechi

Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi says the reason that political office holders steal fund is because citizens have never confronted or stoned them (including himself) for the act.
At a tribute event for Nelson Mandela in Lagos, Mr. Amaechi said Nigerians have not shown enough aggression or resistance against stealing by political office holders.

I am so shocked at what Rotimi just said. Bloody hell! Someone make Rotimi the president in 2015. No wonder he is having problem with GEJ. That corrupt president...Come 2015 he will be back in Otuoke fishing.

Firstly, one thing I appreciate on here is that irrespective of tribe, a sizable amount of Nigerian youths get it based on contributions i'm seeing on here. That anger needs to translate into utter disregard for law and order.. This hypnotism must stop. Nigerians should create their own Arab sprig, bring the government down, organize yourselves...Bring this ruthless administration down...GUNS, BOMBS ETC...There is no more time for injustice...Listen, these folks don't care about you.. There are children are living in expensive flats in America here, England , Dublin , Canada, Scotland..They don't work.. They only facilitate the laundering of your nation resources...I know this cos we see them here.....

You have to read between the lines of what the messenger is saying... Its common sense economics, if people are looting public funds and there is no uprising to protest that action then why wont they continue to keep looting? ... We need solutions and how to get to these solutions, we need good leaders but how do we find good leaders that are selfless with a vision for the future of Nigeria? Rotimi Amaechi, a day is coming when the poor, the disenfranchised, the cheated, the marginalized, the unemployed people of Nigeria will suddenly wake up to the reality that, they (the poor) are much more in number than you thieving politicians. The poor people of this country will suddenly say, 'enough is enough' and like the good people of Burkina Faso did on 28 October 2014, the good and poor people of Nigeria will march to Aso Rock villa and the senate house and burn the place down to the ground. Even the police and army will refuse to fire one bullet because soldiers and police actually feel the same pain the poor and disadvantaged people of Nigeria are feeling and, have felt for decades on end. Both Nigerians in the diaspora and Nigerians in Nigeria, will target and locate the homes and properties of all past and present corrupt Nigerian politicians and completely raze your houses to the ground. Even the army and police will supply petrol and kerosene. All you corrupt and thieving politicians along with their families will be brought out of their homes, stripped naked, beaten and marched to the nearest airport to be exiled from our country which you and your clones have raped to a numbing stupor. That day is coming and is already here because you politicians can only have your foot on the necks of the poor only for so long. Oppression will not last forever because 'everyday for the thief, but one day for the owner'. The poor and unemployed will take back their country because they are the true and rightful owners of Nigeria. Mark these words because a 'Nigerian Spring' is on the horizon.
