Do you guys think it is possible and worth for a 37-year-old to practise the split and gymnastics? I'm trying and trying and find it very hard to see any effects. Probably younger body is easier to train. What do you think?

Definitely possible. Yes being older makes it harder but it's consistency and patience. I'm 18 and I don't have my splits and I've been "trying" for 2 months now. For a week I actually been pushing myself and seeing progress. My advice would be to have proper form no matter how far from flexible you are, you dont want to hurt yourself and stretch with flexed feet and pointed so you get a deeper stretch and since you're doing gymnastics you will have that muscle memory to point those toes. Stretch everyday maybe twice a day. You just have to find out what is stopping the splits, for me it's my hip flexibility. Anna Mcnulty helped me a lot.

Yes. Of course do a lot of videos(3+ videos in one day) and you will se a progress🌚❤️ And you can download an app (splits training) it's help you to do the split fast amd fast and don't give up You can do it❤️

They once had much more flexibility so because of this they can get that flexibility back pretty fast. I had never stretched my splits before so when I started it took me about 4 months to get my right splits (stretching a few times a week). So if you are wondering why you don’t have your splits after stretching for a week this is why. Don’t stress over it too much just take your time and you will eventually get your splits.

Maybe try pushing yourself down more. I used to stretch all the time to where it hurt and never got down much but now I push it a little harder and I have them (just make sure not to push all the way down if your not close and be careful not to injure yourself)

Tip for people trying to get splits: go for a run, a workout etc before you stretch, get your heart rate up! You are always going to be less flexible in the morning, so stretching twice a day is pretty benificial. If you get into a routine of stretching, it becomes the easiest thing in the world! My morning routine is not complete without me stretching

try to increase vertical jump, like weightlifting for power, squats and deadlift etc then come back and show us the GAINZZZZ that a hard challenge otherwise do something challenging like who can do "insert" the best

Im a dancer and It took me like FOREVER to get my splits but I kept stretching at home and practicing and the other day I almost got my splits all the way down then yesterday in dance when we did our splits I got all the way down!!!

For anyone looking for flexibility I HIGHLY recommend Kathryn Morgan’s “stretching routine for flexibility” it stretches muscles I never think to stretch and it sends me straight into my splits without having to hold it and ease into it! Super high quality video (this isn’t a promo or anything I’m just tryna be helpful)

I’m horrible at my splits and i just made the cheer team so I have been stretching my legs and I almost have my left splits and have a little bit to go for my middle and right splits. I am super determined and can’t wait to get them all!!!🤗🤗🤗 DONT GIVE UP AND TRY YOUR HARDEST!!!

Oh my gosh. Girls I'm fond of you that you did it! I know how hard it is to lern it cause' i lern it too. I have found a "trick" to lern it faster. Okay here are the steps: 1. You warm you up for 5 minutes. 2. You get 3 soft and high things. 3. You go in the split over the soft things and hold it for 2 minutes. 4. You relax for a minute. 5. You put away one soft thing. 6. You do step three and four. 7. You put away the next soft thing. 8. You do step three and four again BUT when you say: no i can't this. IT'S OKAY than you put one thing to you and hold it again for 2 minutes 😊❤ And sorry for my english i can't english very well 😂❤

1.Straddle 2.Toe touch 3.Cab stretch 3.Toe touch up 4.Runner lunge 5.Quad stretch 6.More lunges Try splits and try sliding I don’t know if that’s what they did, but I hope it helped!!!

I started 3 weeks ago annd probably stretched 3 or 5 times a week but you have to warm up first. also if you’re super young your bones are more likely to get used better and you’ll get the splits faster.

warming up is a must! I recommend doing jumping jacks or running around and more
