He drank some really strong Baijiu in one episode which I'd argue tastes way worse than 95% ethanol but anything more than a few shots of rubbing alcohol is likely to be lethal as it turns into acetone in the body. You'd get seriously drunk before you died tho so there is that which I think might draw max in.
