Fun fact, Bella Ramsey practiced her American accent for the role of Ellie by swearing because Bella comes from a British background, and Pedro Pascal, who was starring in The Mandolorian at the time, was available to portray Joel in the series. Another fun fact, both Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey both co-starred in the Game of Thrones, and Merle Dandridge, who played Marlene in Part One, plays the same character from the game in the series. And I literally started crying in the first thirty minutes because Nico Parker delivered the heartbreaking scene so well.

This show completely floored me. It's been an emotional rollercoaster and I am so grateful that the source material was not only honoured masterfully but all of the new stuff that took creative liberties from the game was done equally as masterfully. Easily in my top 5 shows of all time, and we still have a bunch of episodes to go before the end of the season!

The ep 3 is incredible, everything has a meaning, from the dialogues to the soundtrack. The wine they drink has hints of strawberry, Bill at the end of the letter leaves a wine recommendation for Joel and Tess, and it has a lot more detail.

Your response means a lot! I recommend to you all to listen to the podcast that HBO is doing for the series. It’s done by Troy Baker who voiced Joel in the game and he has the game creator on and the guy from Chernobyl who also directs on. They explain their changes and I’ve found it very insightful. Much appreciation again!

FINALLY!!! I was waiting for you guys to react to this. So glad you guys are all on board. Loved how your Dad reached for your sisters hand 😢 that hit hard. Loved your guys reaction. Can't wait to see how you guys take on the next episodes. The whole production team really did us a favour to release one episode a week because it hits hard in the feels, the nostalgia, and with the deviations, and back stories. Each episode is done so beautiful, its gripping, suspenseful, moving, and it's everything you could ask for in a video game adaptation to the story we all fell in love with when it first came out. Wish you and the family love, happiness, positivity and blessing from big guns up stairs. ❤

The acting, writing & cinematography in this show is stunning, they're able to get you to fall in-love with these characters & make anything that happens to them much more impactful in but a single episode too, it's just so good.

Of the many reaction channels I've come across, I have no idea why I wait for your uploads the most! The enthusiasm and engagement of the family with every detail of the movie/trailer is what makes it more enjoyable. Please never stop reacting to Indian videos, and I promise I'll never stop watching your content :) Also, please let Shershah be the next movie, or just included in your upcoming reaction list. The actors in the movie just got married in real life recently idk if you know but their instagram post is now the most liked picture on the platform. So everybody's revisiting the movie to recap that amazing love story and we would like your reaction to it. Last thing, is there any chance the little brother is in the show lockwood & co. as Georgie? He really resembles the character. Anyways, thanks and keep up the amazing content.

At the end of the first episode, after the 80s music starts playing and as the camera slowly pans up towards the night sky; When the lightning strikes and the clicker's screams can be heard, look closely towards the building on the left. You will see a Clicker screaming right above them.

when the last of us video game came out in 2013 it changed my gamer life, one of the most impactful stories I’ve ever witnessed. It’s one of my favorite video games ever and this show has become one of my favorite shows ever

I thought the ending of episode 3 was sad but also poetic and beautiful to an extent because they lived a near full life in this terrible world. Compare that with episode 1 where something much more tragic and unexpected happens with Sarah’s death.

The story starts between Austin and San Marcos, only about 5 miles from my home, crazy to think I'm at ground zero of the apocalypse. heh In all seriousness, I do see Joel as an anti-hero character, which perhaps he would not have been without the disaster.

Having been a big fan of the game for many years, I was really nervous that this show would be another crap live-action adaptation. I have never been so wrong. This show had blown me away. They've managed to pull off the perfect blend of scenes that are straight out of the game and new scenes that add so much depth to the story. Plus, much of the added back story is factual, which makes the scaryness even more real. And the casting is perfect all the way around, especially Bella as Ellie. The fact that so many of the original voice cast have been used in various roles in this series shows how much the show runners cared about the source material (and, yes, I know the game's creator was involved in creating the show). I've been watching with my wife & daughter, neither of whom has played the game, and have only watched me play briefly... and they both love this show.

At the beginning I was like at least they didn’t eat pancakes, cake, cookies, and anything starchy they’d be screwed then the death scene happened and I was like I forgot about that I only watched ppl play the game my ex fiancée in particular he wouldn’t let me play so I saw the death scene but I tried to forget it I was like dang it and Nico Parker was told to imagine the worst pain possible and put that into her scene same for Pedro imagine the worst unbearable pain ever losing a child both did so good in that scene and Bella as Ellie she is incredible too

Great summary of the first 3 episodes. I think everything is shown by the title The Last of Us. The episodes are all about the stories of the individuals left in this world. How they adapt and live and die in this new reality. Pedro Pascal recently hosted SNL (Saturday Night Live) and then was on another talk show this week talking about a silly voice that he did for SNL and explained he and the others used it on set of The Last of Us to maintain some equilibrium with all the death each episode. First of all, this show has done an amazing job of using enough of the source material to excite the game players, enough deviation to give them something new, and a complete story to give the fresh to the title watchers an actually amazing written and acted storyline. I also like that they connect science and nature so completely to the backstory (with our real world dealings with COVID and Global Warming) making this so real....in THEIR version of 2023. It's not your run of the mill zombie movie. The Infected are truly unique, explaining how the fungus takes over the body and is a hive mind. The term zombie is shunned by people who love this show b/c this one is different and feels like a real future instead of stupid brain eating shamblers. Anyway it's nice to see a family reaction to this, b/c you think about what you would do as a family if this ever happens. Me...sheesh day one I'll probably be a mushroom lol
