Born in the 2000s and I didn't had VHS my family used to own a DVD player and we used to watch movies in that and I still have the DVD player with the cassettes but it's of no use rn. Also my first memory with a landline is an old landline from my grandfather's storage room. Because we used to have cell phones. The Nokia ones. Damn those were durable.

I was born in the early 80s. I should have known the megazord toy, since I watched the Mighty Morphin power rangers, but no I thought it was a Transformer. The Nintendo 64 I wouldn't have gotten since I never got one, and the T shirt I didn't know either. The rest I knew since I knew pretty many things of the 90s.

I was born in 1964, (not a typo.) I had a Game Boy, a portable CD player, and an N64. I also had a console back in 1978 called Grandstand. It had 8 different versions of Pong on it. Before VHS, we had Super 8 film projector and screen. I had a cassette Walkman when they came out. For toys I had Action Man (G.I. Joe), the clothes and accessories were military or adventure based, and were realistic. Lego and Hot Wheels were popular back then. Some things haven’t changed so much. We didn’t have mobiles (cell phones), colour TV, or even TV remote controls, and there were only 2 channels. We even had to turn the TV on several minutes early, to allow the TV to warm up. TV didn’t come on until about 4pm, and programming ended around about midnight. There were no dedicated channels, like news, music, kids shows etc. We didn’t have internet, or home computers. I must say, that I love the technology that we have today. It feels like a futuristic world compared to when I was a kid.

Although I was born in the 2000s, I can relate to most of these.

Power Rangers brought my kindergarten boyfriend and I together, we would watch it every night after school in his living room and pillow fight and memorize the lines from the show. We got married at recess under a tree and the whole junior, senior kindergarten and grade 1 division came to watch. We held hands and danced around the tree, exchanged rings we bought at dollarama and vowed to be together forever and be a team, just like the power rangers. In grade 4 he moved to another school and I didn't see him again until high school. At that point he told me we were divorced lol but we would still be friends forever like the power rangers always are.
