Today, we sadly leave Thailand and make our way back to Saudi Arabia. Thailand did not disappoint us! With its incredible street food, wildlife, and scenery, we were mesmerized and not ready to leave this amazing country.
But now we are back in the land of sand and the heat of Saudi Arabia. We had been away for a month and a half, and it was time to put the house back together. Gato was happy to see us, but Neko was skeptical, as usual. He eventually came around and wanted love.
Our houseboy was nice and went to the com for us. He picked up some essentials, milk, bread, and eggs, to get us by the next day. So we had grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.
Since we got in at a decent time, we unpacked the bags and started on the massive amount of laundry that took me several days to finish.
The pool was a very vivid color of green, and we knew that just shocking the pool with chlorine was not going to fix it. So we drained it and then scrubbed it out with a brush. When we filled it back up, it was the perfect temperature. However, that did not last long in the Saudi heat.
We then spent the next few weeks trying to figure out how to cool the pool so we could use it throughout the summer. I will post that Patreon Exclusive soon.
Our lives returned to normal as Joel returned to work, and the kids and I stayed indoors to escape the heat. I worked on editing videos and getting them out as fast as I could, and daydreaming of our next adventure coming very soon!
