He's not really loved by the media. They just can't bring themselves to hate him since he's so lovable. This interviewer is something more than a reporter, he's a Liverpool fan. And in fact, Jürgen's thing is that he's loved by the fans because he's genuine, he's passionate. When you watch him on the sidelines, in interviews and even in training or other activities, you see that he cares, that it hurts him when his team loses. And that's all we're asking for really: for the people in charge to care as much as we do about the fate of the club and its results.

I'm convinced that Klopp is much more focussed on the team performance and atmosphere as having individual world-class players. That's why he loves clubs like Liverpool and that's why he never will manage clubs like Barca. He likes clubs like Dortmund, Mainz, Liverpool. Clubs with tradition and a huge fan community which "lives" for the club. I totally like his style. And he really loves what he does.

So let me get this straight: - 2018: Coutinho leaves Liverpool to Barcelona for over 120 Mio. € to finally win a CL title - 2019: Liverpool wins Champions League and takes out Barcelona in the process - mid 2019: goes on loan to Bayern for 8.5 Mio € for 1 season - 2020 UCL quarter-final: Coutinho scores the 7-2 and 8-2 for Bayern versus his actual employer Barcelona to put the final nails into their coffin - Barcelona has to pay 5 Mio to Liverpool because Coutinho won the Champions League - Coutinho goes back to Barcelona

If Financial Fairplay was actually enforced by UEFA (it is not!), then Real, Barca, Juventus, PSG, Chelsea, ManCity, ManUtd would be done because they all spend way more than their revenues from football operations would justify. But in that case, only Bayern and some others would be left to win tournaments, and that would be kinda boring too, I guess.

The timing of this interview makes it so special. Klopp refused to accept the signing of VVD being the first "statement" and maintained Mane and Salah were. We had just lost Coutinho. A few days later we still stopped Man City's dominance as a statement that they will never be invincible again with us around. That season Salah scored 44 goals. The next season Salah and Mane shared the golden boot and won the Champions League after kicking out Barca in Coutinho's first game at Anfield by winning 4 - 0. This interview shows how unfazed Klopp was because he knew the Club is bigger.

Im not a Liverpool fan, but LFC are in great hands with Klopp! Of course its rough that Coutinho left for Barcelona, but Klopp still has attracted & brought in talent who have produced tremendously. The Prem is more competitive then ever in regards to acquiring talent along w/salaries/fees... I feel Klopp’s personality, style of play will only continue to bring quality to your club. Lol, I still remember questioning Klopp’s decision to make Firmino a Striker 😂

Countinho flopped at barca (so far). 0 finals for him and Liverpool have won the ucl since he left. I know a lot of our fans are hating him and calling him a snake cause at the end of the day, we havent won a trophy with him and especially he only just signed a 5 year contract extension last year and says he wants to stay forever and bla bla, but I respect that after his move wasnt on after the summer transfer window, he didnt chuck a Dimitri Payet and put himself on a strike till he could move, he stayed professional and committed to give it his all for us which he did, he was fantastic, he was a leader and had the armband and scored goals and did all his stuff, he wants to be a Barca player now, so I accept it, now the others have to step up even more. Again I'm sad he's gone, but I am not as sad like he's the most disaster loss we've had, he is top class but he's not even in the top 5 players in the world, he may get there in the future with Barca but We still have the attacking line to cope without him and we showed that before he made his comeback at the start of the season. We move on.

We’ve bought a few good players before, Suarez, Torres, Alonso.. but those were few and far between. Klopp’s on a diffrent level with Keita, VVD, Mane, Salah, Firmino, Ox.. In the summer Lemar, Goretzka and a goalie and we’ll be on our way to the title.

"Massive loss" Can't pretend it's not a massive loss, players of his quality are generally unfounded and want to kept to maintain high status, again unsure what signings would fulfil his position, I think Draxler is a safer option, the money is the only aspect that makes this deal look respectable but with F$G highly doubt that Ps will be used. Liverpool did absolute business for some of these elites - Mane would be worth 100+ million. Improved massively. Klopp better batter this average Pep side. Many weaknesses just like Liverpool have, just a test of who can exploit weaknesses in a more effective manner.

Can’t believe people still aren’t sold on Fenway, they’ve done nothing but good for the club, other than the debacle with ticket prices, which they listened to us, they’ve forked our millions to our club, and got returns, they got us back into the champions league by spending money. Granted they originally didn’t spend much, but £35 mil for Carroll, £23 mil got Suarez, £8 mil for an out of sorts Brazilian CAM, £32 mil for Firmino, £32 mil for Mane, £37 mil for Salah, £75 mil for VvD, all bar Carroll are worth way more than that after they’ve had the money spent on them by FSG, not to mention wages, you can’t say they don’t spend money.

You should be thankful to both those players then, why hold any hatred for someone looking to follow their dreams? It just stinks of pettiness that you would hold any ill-feelings for anyone moving from your club (any club), as you point out, when those two players left, the fortune of the club increased significantly, so should you not be thanking them?

Going into 2019 and the sale of Coutinho was one of the best things to happen to this club. He’s a great player but with his transfer money we’ve got Van Djik and Allison and are 7 points clear in the league.

I still feel phill was never a Jurgen klopp type player. He went to a club that suits him and opened doors for a player that will suit jurgen's style much better improving the overall performance of the manager's tactics. Siaf Ali you're right he is world class that's why he still performed incredibly under jurgen. But all I'm saying is a player like De Bryune who is far more of a Klopp type player(ignore that he's better than PC ATM) would increase the quality of klopp's tactical execution.

I fan scouted Coutinho when he played under Rafa at Inter and said we should sign him, but I don't regret that we sold him. He did not allow Klopp and his staff to take him to the next level. He, like a lot of players with his potential commit career suicide. I take my hat off to Eden Hazard for remaining professional and committed throughout his Chelsea career. The world need more of them.
