1. Caramel is melted, browned sugar. If it's not browned, it will be syrup. 2. That's basically sugar brittle. If you add peanut chunks to that melted sugar, then pressed it into a circle, you'd get peanut brittle. You can substitute sugar with jaggery too.

Caramel is just melted sugar butter and cream. When working with melted sugar it hardens almost immediately speed is key and just learning when to execute the steps in between in one fluid motion is all that’s needed to do it. Very simple recipe I may try some experiments at home with this.

it was because leslie's & peter's started crystallizing even before the sugar melted all the way through 🤣 the puffing/bubbling on leslie's was near the actual thing but it puffed up too much for a really long time so it burned and had too much air 🤣 the melted sugar needs to be hot all the way through before dumping in the baking, stir it while the other person is pouring in the baking soda and separate the chopsticks while stirring instead of close to each other 🤣 once its was stirred, they would need to transfer it immediately so it wouldnt continue cooking on the pot and the lower part would stick to the pot 🤣 also stainless chopsticks would work better than wooden chopsticks because the sugar would tend to stick more to the wooden ones 🤣 i hope leslie, miyoung and peter tries it again ❤❤❤
