In this video we try to take every car we own that is drivable to the same car show. How many break downs will we have? It took a lot of work to get all these cars over to the show, and it was great meeting everyone that came out to meet us and enjoy all the cars. This may end up being an annual thing we try to do. So many $500 cars in one place! Last month, we drove the 74k-mile '68 Cougar 302 from SC to WV on an overnight trip for an AACA car show. On the way back, the original nylon-coated aluminum timing chain cam sprocket disintegrated at 70 mph. A shop owner in Wytheville, VA replaced the timing set with a double roller, cleaned out the oil pan, but discovered no compression in at least two cylinders. We had a $1200 229-mile tow back home, and both two-month old Edelbrock E-street aluminum heads are being rebuilt with five new valves. Expensive lesson learned about those old timing chains.

@@Sleeperdude A couple seasoned mechanics have told me this was a bad problem even decades ago. Both Ford and GM used this lousy design for noise reduction from the '60s 'till the late '70s.

Something missing in a lot of American homes. We enjoyed the auto show. My boys have never seen older model cars and trucks like these on the open road. Loved this video. And you won! What a great channel. I recently watched your Model A Tudor video and it brought back memories of my 1930 Tudor sedan. (Father Son Project) I drove it from Tempe Az to Edwardsburg Michigan and back in 1974. I was 21. When you drove your kids around the yard, I could feel the steering wheel in my hands. That Dart wagon is very rare. We had a brand new red one in 1963 but it was a 2-door. Keep up your EXCELLENT wholesome work. I feel that my grandkids can watch your videos without me feeling that they are going to hear a lot of cuss words etc.

In this day of run away gas prices, I would keep the 6 . I had a 65 Dart had to rebuild the 6 (170) had a 3 speed manual on highway I got 27 MPG around town 18-19 That being a station wagon, it may not get that kind of fuel mileage (because of weight)

Love your videos Josh. You have a wonderful family and I wish all of you the best. I have a 1986 Mercury Cougar LS that has been in my family since the day it was bought. It sat for 15 years outside until now. We replaced the gas tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, thermostat and we got it running. It still needs more work but the engine is running strong. It belonged to my Grandmother but unfortunately she passed away so it has been passed along to me and my Father. We finally got some money together to be able to work on her old car. Just thought you would want to hear my story about an old car.

Small car shows are a blast. We've hauled 2 drag cars (Super comp dragster & Pro 67 Chevelle) and three junior dragsters to one show. Used two trucks and two trailers to make one trip. Never won anything but it was sure fun. I have a 55 Chevy with a big block in it. It's satin black covered with old school flames. It's gotten a few plaques. We go for fun not to compete. Thanks for the family adventure.

Our 4? Ford 8n has a high low shifter and she goes like 22mph love your roof I don't have that and the snow and ice hits real hard at 22 when I drive across town to dig out my father in-law. But he bought the tractor I maintain it. He takes good care of us so I do what I can for him. This hole vid had me smiling yall my kind of people.

This was really a fantastic video. I can't believe that more people were not eating the vennias, you made me hungary just seeing all those vennias on the table. I had to out to the kitchen and open up a can. Great job to the whole family. Bill
