We tried traditional Yunnanese crossing-the-bridge noodles in NYC’s Chinese neighborhood of Flushing and had our minds totally blown. It’s pretty rare to find these types of Chinese noodles here in NYC but this place Shi Miaodao Yunnan Rice Noodles does it really well. Check them out on Yelp:
www.yelp.com/biz/shi-miao-dao...
Address:
135-25 40th Rd
Flushing, NY 11354

These noodle soups look amazing. I live in Connecticut, and I'm taking my wife here to try this. We love asian food, pho soups, the list goes on. Can't wait to try this

You Definitely need to check out the neighborhood if you are an asian food lover. This neighborhood transports you to Asia. So many great eats, desserts, drinks and things to do. The best part of all everything is fairly reasonable! Come hungry and bring a pair of comfy shoes because you will be tempted to walk the whole thing. Haha.

Xiaomanyc, stumbled across your channel and I can’t stop watching! Days at a time! The day goes by so fast! I am so upset I didn’t think to learn Chinese when I was younger. You’re told the younger you are the easier it is to learn a language. I am 63 and looking into learning a some Chinese . Without going to China, what do you recommend?

Haha, watching this while at my girlfriends place in Kunming Yunnan. Rice noodles are THE food in Yunnan. These bridge noodles probably the most famous of the rice noodles, but maybe not the most common. Still I dig these, especially since my girlfriend can't live without her rice noodles.

You really ought to spend more time in the original Chinatown in lower Manhattan. A lot of people, who want to visit "Chinatown" in the city, do not take the long ride out to Queens! Over many decades, I have visited Mott St, and vicinity, many, many times...but have no familiarity with Chinatown in Flushing, even though an uncle of mine was a doctor nearby in Forest Hills.
