We upgraded Campers! Skamper Eco, and our first trip vlog!

Welcome everyone and thank you for tuning in for this. After much use of our older Viking popup camper we decided to move up to something bigger and better suited for the upcoming winter season. Out in western NC we’ve noticed lots of campgrounds don’t allow pop ups, and the ones that do limit that for just the summer months. But with us venturing out more in the winter, and even enjoying some dispersed camping, the pop up just wasn’t going to suit all our needs. After many weeks of touring new campers, browsing Facebook marketplace and even the thought of a enclosed trailer build. This “new to us” Skamper Eco fell right into our lap for a price we couldn’t pass up. With the funds we got from selling our a Chevrolet Cruze we scooped this up and here is the video of the first trip out with it! We have lots of ideas for future camping across North Carolina and Tennessee, so drop a comment down below and let us know if your interested in seeing more of these videos. Great video!!! Haven't seen your mama forever. Congratulations to you and Cody on the new camper. I always enjoy doing a ride-along with you through those rule country two lane roads. We just have sand and palm trees and snowbirds here in Florida. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

Very nice guys! Enjoy the new camper. If that's a 360, I remember my 98 short box regular cab would pass everything but a gas station. LOL But ya don't buy 'em for the great gas mileage, ya put' em to work. 😉😀

Nice camper Jay, at 30:37 that railing looks similar to something I had on the side of my popup camper that you could take the stovetop from inside the camper and attach it to the railing and hook up propane hose to cook outside, not sure if your stove top is removeable.

Keowee and Jocassee were some of my favorite spots when we lived in the upstate years back. Our RV was nice but nowhere near as new looking as yours though......We did some camping too. Devils' something or other....I forget.

(9:45) I totally remember that long, straight, slightly downhill portion of Hwy 11 from my former Spartanburg daze. I ran my '89 Honda Civic as fast and hard down that road as I possibly could. Got to an indicated 105mph. Backed off fast 'cos I was afraid I was gonna die. A Civic running up that much starts to feel like an airplane taking off and it's scary as all hell! I used to enjoy those roads off 11 up towards Hendersonville and Brevard in that Civic - at much more sane speed.

I guess what draws me in is you remind me of myself when i was your age or near, i used to love doing this kind of stuff, used to buy vehicles that issues i knew i could tackle, and then either keep fir me or sell and make enough to move in to the next one, had my dealers license and had upwards of 7 -13 vehicles at any given 👉 point 👉 Liked the camper and the Vid ❤

Nice Rv , that piece on the side of the RV is for the outside cooking burner, you hang it on that track , and connect the propane to the quick connect line.. I have the same on my tent trailer.. I’m just cleaning it up to sell it now. Probably going to get one like you have.. but maybe with the tent ends.

9:45. That is Hwy 11. I was stopped at 2:46 am , 11-01-2015 for going 110mph in a 55mph.The cop that stopped me asked me why I was going so slow? I didn't know what to say until he said, "I have a 2000 VW Jetta GLS with the VR6. Open it up and see what it will do". 3 minutes later I was at 171mph and had to back out because he was no where close to me in his hellcat
