So sorry about the loss of those animals -- hard, especially, on your girls. These hard life experiences, though, can really help a child to develop a perspective on life that places a high value on the lives of all of their animals and the work it takes to keep them alive. Your girls are such special kids -- I can only imagine what all these homesteading experiences will mean to them when they're older. What a gift you're giving to your kids!!

Benjamin Button is adorable! He's a keeper! He follows Gary all over! I can't help sing, Gary had a little lamb, every time I see them! Sooo cute. Crandall just transferred a mother and like 12 baby ducks over to his "island" in the middle of his pond. Hopefully, mom will keep them safe from the predators from there. She's already had them swim across the pond to the main land to scavage for food and back again. Cute! But you are right, stinky and love to make dirt. Even Jason at Cog hill will tell you that! Ask Brandon to sell you some turkey eggs. He usually has a ton of chicken, turkey, maybe even duck eggs and babies. They are the beast with bird farming right now.

the little ducks need a step going into their water pool and a step inside to help them come out easier. They can actually drawn in that size of pool, Just a little tip. Love your family.

I'm so sorry for all the losses. It's hard ,they are apart of your life, a piece of the family. Awe Benjamin is a good little helper, you no lambs are generally gentle, they aren't really aggressive. What did the apostles say about the Lord gentle as a lamb. Love the new additions, 3 is a good number replaces the ones lost. Now you need a new gal turkey, you did your best with her.
