Cog Hill Family Farm

3 жыл бұрын

In today's Farm Vlog, we are doing something on the farmstead that we have never done, and that is start onions by seeds and then plant onions in our new bigger garden area. Plus Peaches and Nugget have to help and supervise us with all the homestead chores and also Mrs. Cog Hill does something she's never done before as well...I think she's starting to like the whole backyard gardening thing!

To be fair, some bucks are just extra nasty and extra stinky. We've had some that were like yours, but we've also had some you could smell 500 ft away. They peed so much on themselves their whole chest and legs would just be constantly dripping. You get one of those, the solution is to get rid of it, ASAP. lol

Lord-a-mercy that cornbread took me home to Harlan, Kentucky. Thank you! I love your family, and channel! I have lived in Florida for over 50 years. Went to school in Michigan for 10 yrs, we left Ky when I was 10. I am now 70. So happy here with my husband Ron, we are both retired, he is 74. The yard and garden are a joy to us as are our 2 patios both with plants and running water for our pleasure and health. I still eat cornbread but you make it like my Mother did all those years ago. God bless your sweet family and farm with health & love!

I LOVE these "day in the life" kind of videos here. I love the chatting in the garden, learning a little something, and then in the kitchen with Mrs. Cog Hill teaching a little something. I love it. It's so nice to relax and unwind with this kind of video at night. More of this, PLEASE. And y'all really should come and visit Texas sometime. As a born and raised Texan, I think you'd love it and you'd fit right in because you seem like right friendly folks. I've lived elsewhere and visited elsewhere, but I always long for home. But you'll need more than three days, LOL. It really is like a whole country in one state.

Oh man Mrs C. Your Makin me cry now. Lost my Dad at 65 from esophageal cancer. His dream was to buy a big piece of land for my whole family to farm, but we were never able to do it while he was alive. He's been gone now 12 years and we finally bought our dream property end of July. 25 acres A1 zoned land in southern VA. I know he's been holding my hand through this whole process and whispering in gods ear to lead us on the right path. Now if we could just finish fixing up our home up north to get it on the market and sold, I'd be very happy.
