Oh, Wow, well done on both fronts. Leaving work to go touring can be a scary time at first, but very rewarding as well. Same with making the commitment of a promise of Marriage. Your love for each other really does shine through whenever we see you both in a video.

@@WingingItBoatingonaBudget we are heading over to Manchester via the Rochdale canal then peak forest and onwards, we are traders now we trade as the pretty boat cafe, but not going to be able to get anywhere until Beal lock is cleared, I have a few weeks work left to do on the boat, and then we're off see you on water.

We'll be out and about on our boat on some of the canals you mentioned, so may bump into you (not literally I hope!😉) One thing you're probably aware of, but thought I should mention it, if you're away from home for more than about a month, check your house insurance, many of them have a maximum period unoccupied! Have a great time out and about!!

I can see a project that will need to be done before long. With that bacon spattering away in the corner, you're going to want to tile that wall. I do hope there will be some DIY episodes, because a lot of those were brilliant. Happy waffling, puttering, and exploring--and congratulations!

There were some ‘fake’ plastic tiles up when we bought the boat. Dawn hated them and took them off straight away! So proper tiles need to go up instead… and yes there will be DIY videos. 😃

There are so many of these vlogs with people trying to navigate muddy towpaths and maintain life without any $$. It's odd to watch narrow boaters 6 years on now, chasing food, water, coal, wood, and trying to find places to dump their toilets. They try to lease a plot to tie up too and are constantly 2nd guessing their boat life choice. Many are suffering with depression. It's a life of constant planning.
