First of all, I’ve read a few of the comments before adding this one. This sailing community and those of us planning to join in is fantastic ! The support shown, myself included, is unwavering !! Love that about the sailors. I’m so glad to see that you have recovered from your surgery and that Molly is doing good too. I lost my Godmother 30ish years ago to breast cancer and thankfully this cancer is now survivable. The mangrove run was a blast 🤙🏼 no matter what age guys are, we’re still boys when it comes to having fun. See you next episode and until then, fair winds and following seas Calico Skies ⛵️

Grace, we are so thankful that Molly's operation was a complete success, the burden of this complicated surgery must have lift a heavy mental load off her mind and the Family as a group. So nice to see you celebrating with a marvelous lunch. Pray your travel wasn't to stressful as we hear Mexico is in turmoil over the boarder issue. Happiness is in the beholder and from this video, seems like Bill enjoyed his haircut.

Really great news about Molly's results, it's awesome that you and your family have been so willing to tell your stories, it has to be helping other women going through the same processes... It's going to be a lot easier on you starting this next very long adventure, knowing she's doing so well. Has to be the hardest part of sailing, just being so far from family and friends, that part I do not envy you for...

Congratulations on your collective treatments. We are presently anchored in Mindelo, Cabo Verde, headed for Brazil. This is a very protected anchorage with great holding, paying a small consideration to use the dinghy dock.

Grace, it’s great to hear that it’s looking like your sister is ‘in the clear.’ She’s really fortunate to have you there for support. On the ‘other hand,’ Bill, come on dude, you have a new Highfield, and you couldn’t find anything better to do than speed through miles of mangrove that are so thick and low, it’s like driving blindfolded through a foggy night in London ? Maybe a little exaggerated, but at that speed, there was no way to know what kinds of sharp branches were sticking out from the water, or anywhere. Just saying, not the best thing to do with a brand new looking dinghy, or it’s crew, and equipment.

Exactly my reactions to seeing them speed through a barely passable obstacle course of countless branches that could have been sharp enough to seriously damage something or someone. Like there wasn’t anything else interesting to do around that coastal area. I’m sure if Bill would have tried that with Grace in the dinghy, SHE would have ‘taken his head off.’ 😅

I went to San Diego to pick it up right before we left Puerto Penasaco. Its a highfield 310, we are really loving it!
