The Oyston family have had a controlling stake in Blackpool FC for nearly 30 years, overseeing the club's rise from the Fourth Division to the Premier League and their rapid descent back again. The Oystons are antagonistic and highly litigious, taking several fans to court for message board posts using libel laws. The Blackpool Supporters' Trust is one of the organisations set up with the aim of dislodging the Oystons by any means necessary. We speak to several of their senior members about their efforts.

Very informative, I just watched the play off final (congratulations Blackpool supporters) and wondered where all the fans were. Didn't know things were this bad at the club. Hopefully those dickheads leave so you can rebuild.

YOU know what. WE have. YOU are the side that do worry me. But it should be two good games like the gaffer has said. WE defo need at least two goals to take to yours. I have fond memories of 2001. WE got to the final at CARDIFF in the old DIV3 final. BEAT L/orient 4-2. THE best game i have ever been to . WERE YOU truly wafted in here from paradise. NAAH Luton Airport.

Pretty sad person here. Although we dislike each other the rivalry we have had for 50 odd years is one of the things that makes football special. I'd never hope for Preston fans to go through the shit we've faced.

I am BLACKPOOL FC fan and dont give a shit who owns what. I love the football and I love watching BFC play. If you dont like the owners, why dont you just piss off and find yourselves another team to annoy. If youre not interested in supporting the team just stay away.

David Blake You're absolutely clueless mate. If we don't take action soon enough you won't have a club to support. They are stripping the money from the club, not investing in talent, and now look where we are... it'll get to the point where we have so little talent that we won't be a league club anymore, and if you're a true Blackpool fan you should realise how devastating that'd be. Get an idea of what's going on, open your eyes, and join the boycott before it's too late #OystonOut #NAPM

I have zero interest in the boycotts. As I said, I support the team and the club and what will be will be. Yes look where we are in the lower levels with a play off final and it was done without you and others like you.
