Even now, after the election is over, I'm still not clear on what exactly Hillary's platform was supposed to be. Other than the narrative that she was entitled to the nomination, the votes, and the presidency because it was about time that a female president was elected to the White House, policy matters be damned.

There needs to be a real progressive in 2020. Tim Kaine would get absolutely wrecked and it would be extremely satisfying.

I wasn't in love with Hillary and to be honest the DNC should not have put her out there as a candidate. Whether or not the scandals were true I knew a lot of people in real life outside of KZfaq who were convinced she was guilty of something even if they were incredibly misinformed. The DNC really needed someone squeaky clean Like Bernie or someone else. Hillary just had too much baggage and it cost her a lot in this election honestly. she wasn't the worst candidate ever, but unfortunately she suffered a lot of "boy cried wolf" scenarios. for a working-class family with a spouse and children the amount of time it would have taken to sift through all of the information to determine what was true and what was false would have been incredible, and that is half of the problem. We just do not have a lot of objective media and reporting to help us come to an intelligence conclusion unless you are willing to do hours of research, and sadly a lot of people just do not have enough hours in the day to do that.

I was a Bernie Supporter. But I seriously have doubts that America is enlightened enough that he would have won in a general election. Quite frankly, if a racist candidate was a not a disqualify-er for these voters. If a Sexist/Misogynist candidate was not a disqualify-er for these voters. And that fact that none of these traits were disqualifying, that to me is just plain disturbing. I have doubts that Jewish Senator who calls himself a democratic socialist would have won these people over. It's depressing, because we did everything we could to warn them.. She was too disliked, too corrupt, had too much controversy, wasn't as progressive, and flipflopped all the time.. While Bernie was one of the most liked candidates, had a great record, great values, was a strong progressive, and could backup everything he was saying. We told them this was exactly how it would play out, that we were certain of it, and we clearly had the evidence to back it up..
