I voted for Hillary in the general election because I thought (and still feel) that avoiding Trump was worth choking on Hillary. If you disagree with me for doing that then fine. But one thing I am still angry about from actual Hillary supporters (the ones who hated Bernie supporters) is how they have shown no willingness to be introspective. Whether or not Russia interfered, whether or not Trump is a monster, whether or not James Comey tipped the scales at the end, whether or not you personally like Hillary; you can't pretend that she was a good candidate. And I'm not just talking about taking minorities for granted or not visiting Wisconsin and Michigan. I'm saying that she had NO platform, had genuinely concerning ties to financial institutions, no vision for America and a decidedly poor record as a politician. She had the right job titles but her performance was unimpressive at best and often terrible. The people who can't admit that Hillary was a substantively bad candidate are going to be the ones who prevent the healing of the party. And it's not just about her. It's about recignizing that the whole approach is wrong and we need to stand for principles. We can't be a party that only has window dressings of diversity on a corrupt structure.
