Ethiopian orthodox church literally created the current Ethiopia by creating common identities like language, scripture, and culture. This includes protecting the environment. What makes this church special is it's tolerant to other religions like Islam. The first Islamic hijra was carried out to Ethiopia because it was safe there. Unfortunately, the current government, driven by prosperity evangelicalism has managed to weaken the orthodox church using the few corruptible religious leaders. Just today the government has arrested several top officials of the church that resisted this covert move. I fear for the patriarch 😢

Bro, Israel rejected and crucified Christ. Ethiopia however holds the distinction of being the first nation to establish Christianity as a state religion, contrary to the belief that it ranks second to Armenia in this regard - Ethiopia is first.

As Ethiopia when we refer to Israel, we don’t mean the current or earthly Israel! We refer to the Heavenly Israel. Big difference.
@yenenehw

@@dimvidpro You presented us a tale about a nation called the heavenly Israel, purportedly preceding Ethiopia in embracing Christianity. You're off topic homie but If you wish to pursue that route, provide authoritative sources, whether from the Holy Bible or the writings of the early Church Fathers, to substantiate this baseless argument. Those who dwell in the heavenly Israel, including esteemed figures like Abraham, have indeed attained salvation and exist in the divine presence of the Holy Trinity; they possessed knowledge of Christ (the Son of God) even prior to His incarnation, as evidenced by Jesus Himself in John 8:56-59, where He stated, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." Given this understanding, what is the necessity of intertwining such distinct concepts? You don't make sense at all, but it is apparent that you've a tendency for creating unnecessary drama without a justifiable cause. By the way, I may have been away for decades but I was born and raised in Ethiopia so I know my church.

@@user-vv8vz2un8j Still that is incorrect brother! Ethiopia holds the distinction of being the first nation to establish Christianity as a state religion, contrary to the belief that it ranks second to Armenia in this regard - Ethiopia is first. ✝According to St. Eusebius's (260-339 AD) chronological account of the development of Early Christianity from the 1st - the 4th century, Ethiopia is the first to receive the mysteries of the divine word. Eusebius in his famous ECCLESIASTICAL HISTORY: BOOK II states --- "While the saving preaching was increasing and advancing day by day, a certain providence brought from the land of the Ethiopians an officer of the queen of that country, for according to an ancestral custom the nation is even to this day ruled by a woman. Tradition holds that he was the first of the Gentiles to receive the mysteries of the divine word from Philip through revelation, and was the first to return to his native land and preach the Gospel of the knowledge of the God of the universe and the life-giving sojourn of our Saviour among men, and thus in fact was the prophecy fulfilled by him which says, 'Ethiopia shall stretch out her hand to God.' [Psalm 67:32]". ✝In his work AGAINST HERESIES III.12.8, St. Irenaeus (130-202 AD) recounts a narrative that aligns with St. Eusebius's account regarding the origin and early development of Christianity in Ethiopia. In it St. Irenaeus states, but again: Whom did Philip preach to the eunuch of the queen of the Ethiopians, returning from Jerusalem, and reading Esaias the prophet, when he and this man were alone together? Was it not He of whom the prophet spoke: He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb dumb before the shearer, so He opened not the mouth? But who shall declare His nativity? For His life shall be taken away from the earth. Acts 8:32; Isaiah 53:7-8 [Philip declared] that this was Jesus, and that the Scripture was fulfilled in Him; as did also the believing eunuch himself: and, immediately requesting to be baptized, he said, I believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God. Acts 8:37 This man was also sent into the regions of Ethiopia, to preach what he had himself believed, that there was one God preached by the prophets, but that the Son of this [God] had already made [His] appearance in human nature (secundum hominem), and had been led as a sheep to the slaughter; and all the other statements which the prophets made regarding Him. ✝The Holy Bible does not mention Armenia, however, St. Eusebius's and St. Irenaeus's account find support in the biblical narrative. Acts 8:26-40 provides relevant references to this account:--- "Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, 'Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza' ... And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. Then the Spirit said to Philip, 'Go near and overtake this chariot'...Then Philip preached Jesus to him...and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him." ✝There is no historical document or biblical evidence to support Armenia's claim - NONE!

If you contact me I'll give you the information to free your mind. There were slso Africans already living in Jamica before Christopher Columbus. So present day Janaicans consist of originsl Africans living there just like the Olmecs of Mexico and those Africans who came from Mali when Abukari of Msli made the expedition int the Americas from Mali Africa. OLIVER cromwell did expel people from Ireland and scotland but they were the originsl Black who were the foundational Irish and Scottish! Many Jamacians do not even know what I have posted here. These as well as the Africans who the slave trade brought into Jamaica constitute the Present day Jamaican Black Poplulation
