Күн бұрынThis tent frame is as simple as it gets. Alot of folks are unnecessarily intimidated by this build and I'm here to help. Only a handful of tools and a bit of elbow grease and you got yourself a tent frame that will last you years.
I hope this will help motivate you to getting started with your very own tent someday soon.

Fantastic info, I have the canvas for a wall tent and have been sketching ideas for building my frame. I am considering buying 2x4s and splitting them on the table saw, vs buying furring strips. Side note that two arms length measure = 2 fathoms, which finally made sense when a scouting instructor dropped a lead line over the boats side then pulled it up, counted arm lengths and said we are at 3 and half fathoms Captain. Prior to that I always thought what madman would actually measure anything in fathoms :).

From the video it looks like the Square Slantwall White from Midwest Tents, which the website has listed at $385. Is there another vendor where you can buy it at the lower $70-$80 price like you mention in the video? Or did you use a discount code?

No the framing was what cost us $70. So you have the right price for the tent and honestly that's a good deal for the quality you will be getting. In my opinion if you made it yourself you would probably pay $250-$300 for the right fabric.
