Julie Roth lost her husband Brian Sweeney, who was on United Airlines Flight 175, when it struck the South Tower on the morning of September 11th. Fred Sager, a volunteer firefighter and former Chief of the Department from Long Island, worked in the recovery effort to try to find his FDNY friends who had responded that day. Together, they share their stories of loss, remembrance, and recovery.

I wish. It’s super important people see everything that happened so we have a full transparent understanding how bad 9/11 was. Google even has suppressed so much of the graphic information over the past decade. Real shame as the next generation will forget how much of a nightmare that day was.

Do you really want to see that? I think the families should be left w some privacy, having their relatives body parts etc shown is a bit much but everyone has their feelings about it.

Why do they make these speakers rush!?!? These are survivors, witnesses, family members of victims, etc. Are the people in the audience THAT big of a hurry to get through the program? I'd rather sit and let someone like this take their time (within reason) than have some moderator cut the speaker off after 10 minutes. I hope the audience's attention spans aren't that short. The 9/11 Museum is in some ways similar to the Holocaust Museum in D.C in that if you're going to go, go there when you have time. The history, stories, exhibits, etc. are so massive and complex that they shouldn't be treated like tourist attractions that you're gonna hit up in an hour (unless you're so shallow and vain you just want to be able to tell your friends on facebook you went there and snap a few selfies).

I completely agree, Tyler. I worry, though, that you and I are not in the majority on this. But FWIW, I have all day to hear these peoples' stories. They were witnesses to one of the greatest human tragedies of the 21st century. They can have more than 10 minutes of my time.
