I'd like to say I agree with the people complaining about the shaders. It's really hard to see so out of nowhere you scream about something then I have to rewind and try to figure out what you even saw. It just makes the videos hard to follow

You know this honestly looks like some kind of thing that would happen in a dream I would have about subnautica, an example of one such dream was finding through some means some kind of miniature ship in the ocean that has a crew of about 3, eventually while being on the ship it was shot by the gun, I can't remember much else but it seems like something I would see in a mod.

Imagine if the void kraken was real.....to went out to see and then a 100 mile long creature grabs your boats and drags it to the depths later you see warships being flung across the ocean by the beast

The subnautica devs originally wanted for there to be a giant tentacle to grab the player when entering the dead zones making them unexplorable but the idea was scrapped shortly after created.

This was genuinely scary, like some H.P. Lovecraft type stuff. The rising tentacles caught me by surprise and made me jump. To whomever made this amazing mod, great job.

That eclipse at the beginning had perfect timing. Like something out of a horror movie, perfect. Like the mod did that intentionally, perfect. Pure perfection at its finest

Now THAT is what the void needed. Sure some big spooky monsters are scary but everyone expects some horrible nightmare like this to be out in the mysterious void

This is just way too thematic and lore based to not secretly be the Return of the Ancients mod. I'd be so down for their focus being on something bigger than the garg! If it isn't, then it's easily just another big lore-based mod in development at the same time as it... which is equally as cool.

The problem with Subnautica is that you can only make the Leviathans so big before it doesn't make sense for them to care about such small prey. You don't see killer whales going after Minnows.
