Old school rune forge hammer used to proc on cc not just hard cc so ur slows would proc and then the bees would transfer and proc so you used to stack ur kit to always proc runeforge the second it was ready and then you build shifters and shoguns or another item for tic dmg like crusher. Then you add ur titans bain for your power pen slot and just run crazy with it. Anchile was also an option at the time

Can you explain what you mean by auto attack canceling? Ie when it is beneficial to do so

it's essentially canceling the animation of your basic attacks by activating abilities, so Nemesis is a great example of this. She autos, does shield, then autos again, doing dmg in less than one second lol

There’s also the case on some characters where a certain autos in the chain hit harder/more beneficial than continuing the chain naturally

a great example is king arthur you can cancel auto animation by pressing abilities his autos are a very long animation but he's a great example

When fail not is best used on auto assassin's that make use of crit... Probably not. Jotuns will still be best for ability based like fenrir

i think the idea is that the stats are close to jotins so you run it for a swap at late game when ur capping ur cd already. Go sell jotins and get this so you can then add crit dmg numbers to your hydra procs

I prolly wont be playing this ranked split until items get adjusted and balanced to a more even value. Ive seen alot of stupidity with these items and im just not about to play that 😂😂😂 hopefully they balance the movement penalty stuff and adjust the sheilds proc to power stuff lol.

I’m all for fun, “new” items but wasn’t one of SMITEs problems the skill gap? While building these broken items don’t take skill, it’s going to make the gap worse and it’s going to keep smite the way it’s been. Bringing back old items isn’t new content for the game. Despite the fact that, the game is in a different place now, it doesn’t really change that new people won’t play the game when they get shit on by warriors using shifters shield. This is good for the game short term and bad for the long term. Not enough people will pre order SMITE 2 and play in August, they need a long term solution and I don’t think they’ll do it. So, this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.

While im super happy Ichaival returned as its my hands down favorite item back in the day, I agree with you about this. But still, the patch notes say this is the year of experimentations and giving long term players nostalgia because Hirez and everyone knows that in 2-3 months or whatever when smite 2 goes open beta, no one will be touching smite. Partly cuz smite 2 being new but also because they made and kept smite 1 an unbalanced mess of a game.
