As for blades, you again BADLY underestimate what is required. Even if you weren't dead before getting close enough to use a knife, you will need a very long, very sharp, and double edged blade--just to get past thick pelt/hide, heavy muscles, massive bones, and into the large body cavity where organs lie. Then, you must cause MASSIVE hemorrhage and organ damage. Even doing so will not kill the animal before it literally pulls you apart.

Hey Chukes I live in the south eastern United States. I hunt whitetail so I’m familiar with the .308 round. A rifle I never see mentioned when talking about grizzly/dangerous game defense. The M1A whether that be the 22” version 18” Scout version or 16” SOCOM version you can have 20 rounds in a magazine. Please correct me if I am wrong but, wouldn’t that be more attractive to a outdoorsman since it’s in semi auto with its capacity? Generally just want to know! Love the video (I probably would never be in grizzly/brown bear territory lol)

I think it would be useful to hear the account of Daniel Boone regarding this creature before making any assumptions about what method of defense may be effective. This creature shared space with Arctodus simus at one point, among other mega predators. It is built like them, not like us or other modern predators. Boone said it had a 3/4” thick bone plates instead of ribs and only died because of a lucky shot through the eyeball. Food for thought.

Yupper I would say it is debatable who started the fight.. His rifle was a 50 cal, Old time powder quality, 177 grain, round ball. Or basically "about" a modern 180 grain 357... In the triangle temple, ear, upper Jaw hinge area, They have a breast plate Instead of ribs for hunting purposes, Get a running start on all fours and car bumper their food stunned, Then pull it apart.. That's probably why they have such short necks, To be protected like a turtle pulling its head in for impact, I myself am a black powder, flintlock personality. And I see the value of a 480 ruger alaskan, 480 ruger redhawk 6.5,, 7.5, 9.5 Or 1886 45 70 trapdoor ballistics.. And 480 ruger puma.. 11 rounds 475 linebaugh ballistics ,, mono metal/ punch bullets And a 500 linebaugh, 50 70 or more ballistics. .. And bigger calibers.. After all that, Most sasquatch people are live, and let live family oriented.... The farther north u go, The scarcer the resources are in a given territory,, Add to the the damage humans have done to them and their homes, It is easy to see why a few of them say the only good human is a dead human...... Humans are an artificially created genetically engeneered hybrid invader to earth, And sasquatch people naturally evolved people outclass us in every way, They just have a different value system,, Humans could have been using anti gravity / free energy for thousands of years,, They elect governments that hide this on purpose And call it Gawds will,, Sasquatch People, are traveling interdimentional portals... Small town monsters On the trail of bigfoot, Alaska, land of the missing.. Time stamp 23.29 a Fred Roel story narration, Whatever u think is your ideal sasquatch protection, U better be smart and fast with it...

All this from someone who has never even seen a BF ? I'm still laughing Chuke !!! Do you think one of those things is going to submit to a martial arts style "match on a mat" ? There is a certain implication of that in using your hand to hand "weapons", if we could call them that, while keeping in mind their application to a BF. Do you actually think there would be anything valid in their usage, to a creature that could run down a deer and rend it to death ? I think not. My own take is that the best you can hope for in a death-fight type confrontation would be a "tie", with both of you dead, you immediately, and in pieces, and it, going off to die of infection from bullet wounds. If that makes you uncomfortable, then perhaps its best to stay away from areas where they are both present in numbers and overtly aggressive. But that is just my thoughts, since I like your presentations. and avail myself to them when I see them. So lots of luck if you ever try to verify their existence to the rest of the world, or even go into harm's way as the consequence of ignoring their warnings.

There is a species of them in Alaska that is larger and more aggressive than some of the ones in the lower 48 states. If they do not want to be seen, they won't be. One can literally get you before you know it's there. If attacked you better have some serious firepower. Preferably magnum loads in a handgun like a 44, 460, 500, etc.and at least a 45-70 in a rifle. Personally I would be carrying a AR chambered in 458 Socom or 50 Beowulf with a 454 Casull sidearm and Glock in a chest rig chambered for 45 Super. Anything that you would use for aggressive bear defense would be the thing to carry. That being said, know these things can kill even a large bear. In Texas there was several reports from a farmer that claimed he and several others found a place where something was killing feral hogs by apparently slinging them against a large tree by their back legs. Do you really want to mess with something that can grab a 400 pound hog bh the back legs and sling it against a tree to kill it? Hmm. My second thought, you guys better carry an M60 with a 40mm grenade launcher.
