This helped a lot in the search for what to buy. I was trying to figure out the difference between the Jet and the Soft Jet and it was just the texture lol, thought the flame would be different

That pipe lighter has me thinking about lighting fireworks and cannon fuses. I bought a long grill lighter and (click click click click click click) two minutes later... I need a good lighter.

+Electro grill lighters are designed to normally light gas not fuses.

The writing on the side of it says multi purpose, I just called it a grill lighter because that's what I use it for most of the time. The long neck lighters that work better inside the house on candles is a "grill lighter" to me.

where do you find these things these things look a whole hell of a lot better than Bic lighters I personally like Zippo but fluid and parts are expensive these would be a better choice in a survivalist type scenario thanks

I'd go with the jet flame one. Stabilized flame for accurate lighting of cigarettes , rollies , cigars , cigarillos , weedy rollies ... And candles.

Yeah only issue is that they require more expensive refined butane.

Strange question, I got my hands on a petrol clipper but for some odd reason I can't swap the flint wheel for another one, it's much smaller than the plastic one I've had before, has this happened to you?

I've had this problem. The petrol ones--at least *now*--use a much smaller flint tube *and* smaller flint than both the other metal Clippers and the traditional plastic ones. I haven't been able to find a single vendor that sells these smaller inserts.

You can increase the diameter of the flint wheel with the appropriate size drill bit used by hand. I do this for ones that don’t fit bic flints so they can fit perfectly inside.

Can you do a video of how to properly clean a gas mask hose, there is no videos on KZfaq of how to clean one. BTW I found some Yellow EO-14 and dark brown coffee can filters on eBay all together, are they safe??

EO-14 filters all contain asbestos. To clean a gas mask hose just run water through it, or submerge it in the sink.

Yes, those are old Soviet filters, even if they don't contain asbestos I wouldn't want to breathe through them.

Im looking for a lighter "for life" I want to own just one lighter. I tried zippo but I use my lighter occasionally so it didn't work out for me. Do you think Clipper will be a pick for me ?

Yeah a metal clipper will last ages and all the parts like a Zippo are replaceable, the nice thing with butane is that it won't evaporate like lighter fluid in a zippo when not in use.

Good luck! You are bound to lose your lighter if you carry it and use it often. Especially if you share.

@@alchemist889 Do not share your forever lighter. Carry cheap ones for sharing. I recommend to leave it in your house.
