I am a new weaver and love the idea of making a sample prior to starting the project. I own a varident Ashford Heddle but I am having trouble finding a small loom lime you are showing in your video. Any suggestions?

That was a really old tape loom which I adapted. I also have an 8in Kromski Harp loom which I use for samples, I find that works well. I don't try weaving on a card loom, I like having a heddle for the shed and for beating the weft in place. The Ashford samplet loom is good too.

@@getweaving8459 thank you for your response! In your video you say to make a small sample to not use too much of your precious handspun. It seems that the 8” Kromski and Ashford Samplet wd require more amounts of yarn. The example you showed in the video is small enough to fit on a piece of paper. How large was that sample?
